News Letter /April 2012 Westmorland Little League kicked off with its annual Opening Ceremony, which gave parents & the community opportunity to meet this year’s Teams & Coaches… League President Mr. Ron Davis would like to Thank Everyone who came out to show support & to all the Coaches and Assistant’s a huge applause for donating your time & effort to our Children & local Youth. Good Luck to All the Teams & Have a Fun & Great Season! The Westmorland Presbyterian Church Library will host their annual Easter Egg Hunt and Story time for the children (ages 2-12) of Westmorland (and surrounding area) on Saturday, April 7 th at 9:00am at the corner of South C & East 3 rd Streets (across from Jr. High). All youth must be accompanied by an adult. Refreshments will be served. For more information you can call (760) 344-0334. STREET CLOSURE: Between the hours of 9:00 AM and 12:00 Noon, the street in the 100 block of South C street will be closed to traffic from the alley to Third Street for the safety of the children. This construction project will cause South Center Street to be closed to through traffic for sixty days, in which you will need to find an alternate access to your home during this construction phase. We apologize for this inconvenience, but again it should not exceed 60-days.
