For the Ceiling project at Museum of Fine Arts – Boston,We

The museum of Fine Arts receives over one million visitors

each year. Several existing rooms and public spaces were

renovated included in the expansion of 48 large, custom-

fabricated ceiling panels on a pivot system using Newmat’s

NewLight micro-perforated double-layer system and featuring

a custom perimeter detail on 2010.

These ceiling panels provide efficient acoustical

performance and exceptional light diffusion in the museum.

The ceiling height is about 63 feet and the courtyard

measures more than 12,000 sq.ft.
