Joy of running

Newline works with running gear for the technical environment where

functionality must be of absolute priority. But at Newline, we never forget

the soul and joy of running. For the AW09 season we work with colours in

a fun new way. We experiment with contrasts and use joyful flashing winter

colours. We want running to be colourful and fun.

Newline’s Product Selector

Newline’s Product Selector has through the years helped runners choose

the right products for the right weather and temperature. Our Product

Selector concept is built on 3 different temperature zones: red, yellow and

blue.

For us it is not only essential that runners have the right products according

to weather, but it is of equal importance that our customers can offer

the runners the right products at the right time. Accessibility and rate of

turnover are key words for us.

Therefore we have adjusted our deliveries to our customers to when the

runners actually have the demand for the products. We call it red drop,

yellow drop and blue drop.

A Pioneer in sportswear

Newline is a genuine pioneer within functional sportswear. Almost 30 years ago when running was only at its dawn, we developed the first

ever running suit from the fabrics found in parachutes. This high-tech material had obvious advantages in being quick drying, light in weight

and very durable compared to old-fashioned products of e.g. cotton. Ever since we work on the development of new materials and always

have improved performance for the athlete in mind.

We are running

At Newline, it all started with running and based on our own personal experiences from running, our mission is: “to develop sportswear for

the active runners, enabling them to perform their best under all weather conditions”. We strive to give the best possible expericence for the

active runner – nothing more and nothing less.

Dialogue with the runner

With total distribution in most of Europe, we meet runners from all over. We meet runners on their turf – at events, races, competitions,

clubs, etc. We get valuable input from all the people we meet, from the exercise jogger to the professional runner. All help us to understand

the runner and how to improve performance.

Research studies

Out vast experience within the field of function has given us confidence in what we make. We have carried out intensive research studies

with experts at the Copenhagen University and professional top athletes to fully understand how the body works under pressure. Today, this

makes us the best in what we do.

Eye for details

We work hard with our function, and it is the details that make the difference. Wind resistance, water resistance, sweat transport, breathabi-

lity, cooling and thermal effect and weight are all parameters that are used in the Newline design. When new fabrics or functional details are

designed, these parameters are always kept in focus for improved performance.

Bamboo fiber contains an element called “zhukun” which

has medical effect of anti-bacteria, mite and stink re-

sisting. Various kinds of microorganism are blocked

by “Zhuli” element in bamboo fiber. Also, chlorophyll
