My neighbor had sewer line trouble that unfortunately involved me, as our two lines tie in on my property. His plumber told me my line was shot and I needed $9000.00 worth of work done. I called the claims number for the insurance I had purchased through my broker and had a representative out the same day. He used a camera to verify that my line was ok. I got to see it with my own eyes, and needless to say the plumber did not get my business or my money.

Seattle, WA.

Just months after enrolling my home in a water and sewer line insurance plan my waterline started leaking, I was notified by the water department, and my new policy covered 100% of the repair cost-- thank goodness my agent at Hub brought this type of coverage to my attention.”

Testimonials

“ We purchased a policy after hearing about the coverage from our insurance agent. Recently we had a nasty sewer back up. We made just one phone call and had a new sewer line installed within 24 hours. What a great program, we simply could not have managed the cost without this coverage. Gary and Linda Ephrata WA

the Washington State Department of health.• Residential sewer leaks are the single largest contributor to ground water contamination.• Washington Department of Health enforces water use efficiency mandates for water providers which

state leaks in public infrastructure must be kept below 10%.• Department of Health also strongly advises water suppliers to take action to help homeowners reduce

water and sewer leaks.• Many cities on the west coast are implementing programs that require homeowners to have sewer line

inspections done prior to selling a home.• Over 50% of homeowners are unaware of their responsibility to maintain exterior water and sewer lines.
