Faith In Motion & Nursery CareThis morning we are off to the upstairs rooms at the Newcastle Arena. Parent(s)/Guardians: please pick up your young people from the main doors of the arena – thank you.Children in grades 1 & 2 are learning “God loves us no matter what”, based on Romans 5:8Young people in grades 3 & 4 explore “God can help us handle angry feelings”, based on Ephesians 4: 26-27.Youth grades 5 & up dig into the question “How did the world come to be?” Bible Truth: God is all powerful. Based on 1 Chronicles 29: 11.

Coffee and McDonald’s - Rev. Mary-Jane continues to

be without an office. In order to stay connected she will be at the Newcastle McDonald’s on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 10 am having coffee. You are welcome to join her.

Bible Study – Wednesday mornings at 9:30 am. We will meet in the sanctuary. All welcome.

Euchre – Friday, October 4 at 7 pm. Please speak with Janet O’Neill for more information.

Coffee Plus – Due to the renovations we will not be having Coffee Plus in September and October, however, your contributions to the Food Bank will still be gratefully received.

We are starting Men's Breakfast on Saturday, Oct. 12th at St. Francis of Assis Catholic Church.  Our Guest Speaker will be Dave Mowat, Chief of the Alderville First Nation (known by them as Anishinaabek). Dave is a great speaker and will bring us a lot of insight into not only the history of the Alderville tribe but what is occurring presently. As usual, cost is $10 at the door. R.S.V.P. Myno

Luke 17:5-10

FundScrip is the Fundraising Committee Gift Card Program to earn money for the church. Order forms, which are located in the narthex, can be placed today and will be available for pick up October 6.

Visit us At Newcastle Village’s Fall Fest! Our church will be selling baked goods and squash. Come out and support us, we would love to see you! We will be by the Community Hall.

If you offered to donate baked items, Susan will be in touch with you about picking up or dropping off your items. Thank you for your support.

Christmas Marketplace will be held on November 23. If you would like some table space (part of a table, a full table) to sell any products from Grow Your Dough, please speak to Susan.

Would you like a Squash for Thanksgiving? James Kent has generously donated buttercup, butternut, and

pepper/acorn squash to the Church. We will be selling squash all October. Squashes

are $3 each or 2 for $5. All proceeds go towards the hall build.
