preparing for your sessionOnce you decide to schedule a session with me, we will set a tentative date based on your due date. Once your infant is born, please get in touch with me and we will firm up our date and time. Babies are best photographed in the first 10 days of their new little lives.

Please taPlease take the season into consideration when you’re deciding to do your newborn session out doors or in your home.

All other sessions can be tentatively scheduled and we will confirm 2 days from the date depending on the weather. This will allow us to reschedule if the prediction is rain or too chilly for your little one.

what toexpect

Now you can go get your little one some ice cream for being awesome or just go home and relax with your new baby. I’ll be going through the images from your session and selecting the best 20-40. Once I have the “final cut” selected, I meticulously edit each individual picture to correct any blemishes.

Within tWithin two weeks of your session, I will email an invitation to view your password protected online viewing gallery. You now can choose your print products or digital options for your ‘saweet’ images!

Within 2-4 weeks of placing your order, you will receive all the goods.

For Newborn Sessions: Once you arrive at our session location, I will give you some time to feed and soothe your baby. Then, we will move on to some relationship poses with Mom, Dad and Siblings after which I will photograph your newborn in the props that you have chosen.

FFor Children Sessions: We’ll begin by having fun and playing to introduce the camera and having me around. I encourage par-ents to bring bubbles, blocks, or toys. I really want your kids to have fun.

Before you leave, I will ask you to sign a model release. This allows me to use your images to promote my business without compensation.

Custom photo sessions include a pre-session consultation in order to discuss wardrobe, location, props, and other details to ensure your session is unique! Session fee also covers photographer’s talent, a photography session up to 2 hours, one general location up to 30 minutes travel from Morgan-town, and an online viewing gallery of approximately 20-40 proofs.

Includes everything from the Cute Sparrow plus a personalized website to share images, order affordable prints, and download edited, high resolution images. A photo print release is included and the website is available for 30 days after photo reveal.
