Brownsover BREW is a free community café which is family-friendly & open to all, every Tuesday from 1pm to 5pm at Christ Church, Helvellyn Way. Come along and enjoy a brew & a chat. There are plenty of children’s games available too.

Overslade Play Rangers Activity Club is free and will run for ages 7-13 every Tuesday from 5pm till 6.30pm at Overslade Community Centre, Buchanan Road CV22 6AY. For more information: 01788 533655 or [email protected].

Harris Sports Centre runs a multi-sport holiday club. Cost is £12 per day basic, an additional £3 for early or late, or additional £5 for full wraparound. Bikeability training runs for Years 5 and 6 (level 2) and Years 2 to 6 (level 1) from Harris Sports Centre. Level 1 teaches basic cycle control skills in a safe environment, while level 2 (a two day course) prepares students for cycling on the public highway. Level 1 costs £12 per person payable in advance, and level 2 costs £20 per person payable in advance. Booking is essential. Address is Harris Sports Centre, Mellish Road, Rugby CV22 6BB. Summer Reading Challenge ‘Space Chase’ - launches on 13 July. Can you read 6 books over the summer holidays? Accept the chal-lenge and collect your free Space Chase pack from the library. For those who successfully complete the challenge there will be a medal and certificate at the end of the summer. These will be handed out at the celebration event on 7 Sept.

Playing Advantage is a community sports club for young people in Coventry and Warwickshire

aimed at young people aged between six and 19 years old with any type and level of learning

disability, and allows them to take part in a variety of sporting activities centred on a rugby

theme. Wasps set up the Club which will run every Sunday between 9am and 10.30am at the

King Henry VIII School Sports Centre on Warwick Road. Sessions run free of charge and specialist

coaches can tailor the sessions to suit the needs of participants.

Warwickshire Local Welfare Summer Support Scheme is open if your children were registered

for free school meals before 19th July 2019. Funds for this scheme are limited and applications will

be considered on a first come first served basis. Applications will be accepted between Monday
