SITUATION AND POPULATION

SITUATION: New York is one of 50 states in the United States, located in the north-east of the Mid-Atlantic. It's capital is Albany. POPULATION: There are 19 million people, New York is the third most populated state in the country.

● There are five neighborhoods: Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island.

TRANSPORTIn New York, people uses all kinds of transport.

CENTRAL PARK● Central Park is a public park at the center of

Manhattan in New York City. Is one of the world's largest urban public parks. The park, which receives approximately thirty-five million visitors every year, is the most visited urban park in the United States.

CLIMATE● New York has a humid and cold climate and

cold winters. The amount of snow is normal: 63,5 to 88,9 cm of year. Summer is hot, with temperatures of 30°C (degrees) or more.

PLACE TO VISITOne of the interesting things to do in New York, is going to watch a basketball game of the New York Knicks and also go to see a funny musical on Broadway.
