Human beings spend about a third of their lives asleep. A good part of sleep-time is spent dreaming.
Some dreams are happy, some sad and some may be terrorizing. But what does it all mean? From
ancient times to current day people have tried to explain the meaning of dreams. We will explore the
dream world together and learn how meanings of dreams have changed over the years. In ancient
Chinese civilization if you dreamt of “Abandonment” it was a symbol of indecision about your future;
today it is believed that you have a fear of losing a loved one. Only requirement is to bring your dreams!
Notable persons will be discussed and reviewed in this educational class. For the month of May we will
highlight famous Mothers such as Eleanor Roosevelt, Elizabeth Cady Stanton and others. Starting in June
the focus will be on Hollywood Icons. In July the true patriots of the American Revolution and last but
not least in August the theme will be music legends. At times the Linked Senior will be used as a

Can you stump the others? This guessing game makes us use our imagination and creativity in
pretending to be a historic or famous figure. At first the clues are difficult, the more clues that are given

animal but I am in the entertainment world?” “I am only three feet tall”. He was Charlie McCarthy a
wooden puppet!
