follow the Agenda for any Committee meeting live, as the meeting takes place

• Website address is https://apps.azleg.gov

• Or go to the Arizona State Website www.azleg.gov and click on this link

• A log in is required• Anyone who created an RTS account on

the old system and supplied us with a legitimate email address will have their account created for them in the new system.

• Anyone who did not give us a legitimate email address will have to come to the capitol to create a new account.

With your account created you can sign up to speak or just register your position on a bill from any device with access to the Internet

The First time you log in your screen will be blank because you don’t have any requests to speak and you have not yet registered any positions on bills

After you have made some requests to speak or registered your position on a bill your first screen will look something like this

The Side Bar

Shows your requests to speak and your positions on billsThis button will give you a view of requests you have already made

This button allows you to make a new request to speak and add your position on a bill

This button shows your positions on bills and allows you to change them

This button allows you to search for Agendas that have been scheduled

This button allows you to search for past Agendas

Making a New Request to Speak

Select your committee

Click on this arrow to see a list of committees

Click on Search

Make a Request to Speak on a Bill

Find the bill on which you wish to speak

Click on Add Request

Select who you represent

Select your position on the bill

Select whether you wish to speak or not

Enter a comment (optional)

Click Submit

NOTICE TO LOBBYISTS

Lobbyists only—when you created your account and verified you were a Lobbyist, the Secretary of State furnishes a list of entities you represent. That list will be available to you in the box next to Who are you representing?

Review your Requests to Speak and Positions on Bills

See all your requests, including the one you just added

Edit a Bill Position

Once you have entered a position on a bill you can change that position any time, whether it is currently on an Agenda or not.

Click on Update

Change your position

When you change your position you are required to enter a commentClick

Update

Delete a Position

Find the bill from which you want to delete a position, click on Delete

Click OK to delete the position

Add another position for a different party you represent

Lobbyists, if you need to enter a position for another entity you represent, you may do so by clicking Add next to the bill

Enter the information including a comment and click Submit
