- multiple perspectives on historical events - lesser known stories the hidden gems of history and science

‘Sgt Stubby’ - celebrated hero, known to 3 presidents, and, later in life, vaudeville star and Georgetown Hoyas mascot – finally gets a new treatment in Ann Bausum’s book, Stubby the War Dog, (May 2014) in anticipation of the First World War Centenary in August 2014.

What I would love to see more of...

More math and science especially narrative nonfiction(I would LOVE to see a graphic novel or young reader adaptation of Carl Sagan’s Cosmos)
