Spreading into the other services

• Web is becoming remixable • Some web sites will offer their information via a

REST API • Others will try to keep their information

proprietary, but it will be opened via mashups • The Library web services can be implemented to

web services like Netvibes, IGoogle and Facebook.

Social networking

• Social networking services are web sites that enables users to create public profiles within that web site and form relationships

• Users can form groups according to their intrests

• The most popular social networking services are Facebook and MySpace

- inform about they events- present guided tutorials and special

collections- access to the web library catalogue- to social networking and communication- to offer expertise

• With social media services users can watch, share and comment photos and videos and also create interest groups

• Flickr is one of the best known photo-sharing sites, where you can collect and organize images and where you can incorporate images into webservices

• YouTube is one of the best known videoservice, where you can can collect and organize images and where you can incorporate images into webservices
