On behalf of our more than 81,000 students and 12,000 fellow employees, I want to welcome you to our Anne Arundel County Public Schools family! To assist you with the transition into your new family of educators, you are invited to attend the Right Start: New Teacher Onboarding Kickoff, to be held this year from August 21 through 23 at Old Mill High School. This kickoff and yearlong onboarding program will provide you with support and professional learning opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skill development. Our AACPS family is committed to supporting you personally and professionally as you travel this career path as a professional educator.

You are automatically registered for Right Start upon acceptance of your position. Additional professional development, as indicated on the following pages, is scheduled for several teacher groups on August 24 and 25.
