8 a.m. – noonArrival and Check-InCheck in with Housing at your assigned residence hall of Smith, Vedder, McDonnell or Swartz to receive your key and ID. OAs will be available to move you into your new room. Technology Desk consultants will be available for assistance if you have problems connecting to the network.

11 a.m. – 1 p.m.Resource Fair Ground floor, Elaine Langone Center Get all of your questions answered by representatives from a variety of campus offices and resources including Bucknell Student Health, the Counseling & Student Development Center, Bursar & Payroll, Campus & Dining Dollars, Dining Services, Family Programs, Library & Information Technology, Card Services & Student Transit and Bucknell Nutrition.

Volunteers enjoy learning about sustainable agriculture while growing food for local food access programs and our own Bucknell Dining. Plus, it's free exercise, fresh air and sunshine. Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Bring a water bottle. We provide tools and teach you what to do. You do NOT have to attend the whole time.

The Griot Institute is happy to present this unique opportunity. Drums will be provided and there is no cost. Stop by to try a drum and meet the instructor. Taking place every Friday (known as the Day of Assembly in Arabic), this service features a two-part sermon known as the khutbah, with a pause between the two parts of the sermon to allow for a time of personal prayer, or du’a. Lunch will be served after the service and all students are welcome.

1 – 4 p.m.Station Eleven First-year Common Reading Discussion & Caravan Design Various locations (Your OAs will direct you.) Halls will participate in a reading discussion led by faculty and staff and compete in a contest to create a “Survival is insufficient” design of their own for a real life caravan. Make sure to bring your book and creative energy.

3 – 4 p.m.Transfer Students Getting Involved on Campus7th Street MakerSpace StudioLearn about the resources available within the Career Development Center, including internships, externships and navigating the Bridge. Following the session with the Career Development Center, you will hear from staff members in the Campus Activities & Programs Center about social opportunities and the wide variety of clubs and organizations you can join.

4 – 5 p.m.Experiential Programs Open House Taylor Hall Room 113 Stop by this program which features treats from organizations where Bucknellians are making their mark.
