The super-fast Epson SureColor SC-S50600 maximises productivity

Designed to deliver a very high level of efficiency, the SC-S50600 uses two Thin Film Piezo printheads, running two sets of CMYK and white ink simultaneously, to print at speeds in excess of 50m2/hour. A built-in dryer ensures prints are ready quickly and, for high productivity applications, an additional drying system is available as an option.

High workloads

Sustained high workloads are accommodated with ease thanks to the printer’s ergonomic design and time-saving features. Loading a new roll is a one-person job using

the jack system at the rear, and the media loading lever is conveniently accessible from both the front and rear of the printer. Heavier rolls up to 80kg can be easily accommodated using the printer’s optional heavy-roll supply system. Once the substrate is loaded, the SC-S50600 automatically optimises media handling and printhead alignment for the media type, and automatically adjusts the substrate tension to enable accurate media feeding.

Record-breaking printing speed

Whether there is rigid or flexible material under the jets, Oryx prints 70m² per hour in draft mode – which incidentally offers very presentable quality. In production mode it hums away at an efficient 25m² per hour.

High resolution at high speed

The fine art printing quality of the Omega 1 is achieved by a resolution of up to 1728 dpi, greyscale printing technology and a large colour gamut, thanks to the optional process colour additions (PCA) of orange and violet, grey, light magenta and light cyan. The precision transport of the printheads is by advanced magnetic linear drive, further ensuring consistently accurate printing.

Compact footprint - large throughput

It is very compact in size, only requiring 15m2 floor space, yet it will print large images up to 160cm wide by any

length, which is only limited by the media length, and at a production speed up to 35m² per hour.

Rigid & flexible materials

The Omega 1 combines Durst’s 10 years’ experience of both flatbed and roll to roll printing technology and can print rigid and flexible material without compromise to either. The machine will print onto media like Kapa®, Forex®, Acrylic, Dibond®, Correx® and wood up to a thickness of 5cm, as well as onto self adhesive foils, papers, PVC vinyls, PE foils or textiles.

Record-breaking printing speed

Whether there is rigid or flexible material under the jets, Nyala prints 200m² per hour in draft mode – which incidentally offers very presentable quality. In production mode it hums away at an efficient 72m² per hour (4 x CMYK).


Nyala prints panels up to 3.2 m × 4 m in size, and 50 mm thick, all with amazingly modest space requirements.

Multi Functional Head

On the multi functional head, three modules can be mounted with a single screw system. Each module has an ID which is automatically recognized when the module is installed. The central unit is equipped with a laser pointer for positioning the origin and setting material boundaries. Furthermore, the integrated camera system that reads the registration marks guarantees fast and accurate contour cutting.

Automatic tool recognition

Changing tools is quick and easy. Automatic tool recognition, combined with digital and mechanical depth and or pressure control, insures precision cutting on a wide variety of

materials. The F Series base unit comes equipped with a drag module and Summa ’s revolutionary optical camera marker recognition system for accurate contour cutting of printed flexible or rigid substrate materials.

Axis Control

Axis Control is standard delivered software that gives full control over Summa’s cutting table at your fingertips.
