Ephesians 4:1-3 NLT

As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

What Ephesians says about our calling 1:4 – God chose us for Himself. 1:5 – God predestined us to be His children –

heirs of all our Father owns! 1:7 – God sent Christ to redeem and reconcile us. 1:13 – God has sealed us with the Holy Spirit.

2:6 – God has seated us in heavenly places with Christ. 3:10 – God has given us the mission as a Church to display His wisdom. Or as 1:12 says, we are “… destined and appointed to live for the praise of his glory.”
