RICS - The New Rules of Measurement Part 2 Procurement (Bills of Quantities) Wednesday 2 nd December 2009 1.00pm - 5.00pm London South Bank University The RICS intends to release the second stage of its New Rules of Measurement documents this winter. This document is the Procurement (Bills of Quantities) section and is intended to become the new rules for the measurement of Bills of Quantities, which is intended to replace SMM7 (standard method of measurement), although it will initially run alongside. The seminar will allow attendees to gain a general overview of the major changes in the method of measurement, explain how the document is to be read, and give advice on the build up of descriptions.
