IMRE Reform

Principles• The old structure should be kept as far as possible• The new „framework“ for regulations and the requirements for

clusters have to be considered• A regulations for the admission must be implemented

(before it was part of the regulations itself and not so detailed)

• Students advice should be considered(reduction of total hours, subject with no relevance to IMRE should be abolished)

New• 16 cluster instead of 4 (Business Administration, Economics & Law,

Environmental & Resource Management, Interdisciplinary Studies)

• Re-introduction of electives• Re-introduction of mandatory German courses• Colloquium as part of the Master Thesis Project• Omission of some lectures (e.g. Mining Operations Management)
