Edge Routing - All traffic passes through our ISP grade routers utilizing Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) that allows multiple paths through the internet for redundancy and speed.Advanced Stateful Firewall and IPS - All traffic passes through our redundant advanced statefulfirewalls and include intrusion prevention services.Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls, Optional - If your needs require custom rule sets, additional security features or managed connectivity (IPSEC VPN), Hipskind offers optional Palo Alto firewalls. These are always configured in redundant HA pairs.A10 Networks Load Balancers, Optional - Hipskind offers load balancers for clients that require highly available application and data centers. Advanced Server Load Balancing, (local requirements) and Global Server Load Balancing, (for balancing loads between Hipskind data centers in Chicago and Atlanta) maximize uptime by detecting local and remote outages. Processing - There are two components to processing that ensure the performance capability required by your applications; processing and random access memory. Providing either multi-tenancy or dedicated servers, Hipskind delivers elasticity by provisioning cores and RAM to meet your needs. Storage - Hipskind utilizes 10Gbps iSCSI connected adaptive flash storage. Although we provision storage as contracted for, all storage is thin provisioned to ensure additional capacity is always available if required.

Zerto Replication- In order to provision “push button” DR capabilities in virtual environments, Hipskind utilizes Zerto. Zerto Virtual Replication is the industry’s first hypervisor-based replication solution. Zerto provides all the features and functionality required for building an enterprise-class, cloud-based Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) Plan.

Commvault Live Sync – The Live Sync feature enables incremental replication from a backup of a virtual machine (source VM) to a synced copy of the virtual machine (destination VM). The Live Sync operation opens the destination VM and applies changes from the source VM backups since the last sync point.
