New Life Ministies Orphanage is located outside of a the city, Trivandrum in Southern India. The orphanage is located in a very rural, poor area of India and is mostly populated by small tribes.

This picture was taken on one of the last days that we were at the orphanage. We got extremely close with these three girls in the days that we spent with them. ACIS PowerPoint ProjectThe FoodThe food is very different from the Indian food that most restaurants prepare in America. Rice is eaten at every meal and is a large part of their diet. Dishes with curry in them is also a very popular dish in India. Coconuts are very abundant and therefore most of the food is cooked with coconut oil.
