In Haggai 1&2, the prophet delivers a sermon to the nation of Israel who misplaced their priorities. The temple was in ruins. The temple was a significant part of Israel’s history. It was the place where the people would go to interact with God.
But the Israelites failed to care for the Lord’s temple. They neglected it and instead spared no expense caring for their own homes and possessions. This brought hardship on the nation of Israel but Haggai comes to deliver a message of hope.
Haggai’s message reminds Israel if they do the things that God has called them to do, God would be pleased with them & “fill the place with His glory”. Israel responded to this sermon in verse 13 “so the Lord stirred up all the people, they came and began to work on the house of the Lord Almighty”.
We believe that if we do what we can for Him, God will do what only He can do for us. He will fill this place with His glory. We believe our best days are ahead of us.
Will you help us be part of what God desires to do in our
Northern Burlington Communities?

One thing in life we can count on is change. As new opportunities arise we will adjust as a church. We will be ready for what God desires to do next. Will you?
