Mail-in Ballots are Automatically Sent to

Applicants from the 2016 General Election

New Jersey’s vote-by-mail system has changed under a new law enacted in August 2018. Voters who requested mail-in ballots for the 2016 General Election automatically receive mail-in ballots for all future elections unless they opt-out of receiving the mail-in ballots. These voters will be marked in the poll book as “mail-in” and should be given a provisional ballot.

48 Hour Acceptance for Postmarked

Mail-in Ballots

Mail-in ballots received by mail within 48 hours of the

close of the election will be counted as long as the

ballot is postmarked by the date of election.

On Election Day, please reserve

the designated handicap parking spots

for voters. We respectfully request that you

leave the parking spaces for voters who
