QV1 Plaza is located on the northern side of the QV1 building, bounded by Milligan and Hay Street.

The site is close to multiple train, bus and car park options, including onsite parking for over 1,000 cars. At the top of the terrace, QV1 Plaza is easily accessible by car from the western suburbs and Perth’s major freeways.

Putting your business at QV1 Plaza will see an onsite captive customer market, supported by the expected increased day and night economies with Perth’s growing population. Forecast investment from leading accommodation brands, including Westin and The Ritz Carlton, along with strong apartment development supports a growing residential population.

Elizabeth Quay and Yagan Square, combined with the redevelopment of major retail destinations Forrest Chase and Raine Square and new comers like the State Buildings are all contributing to driving local, national and international visitation.

QV1 Plaza is ideally located to take advantage of the 15,500 seat RAC Arena located down Milligan Street with a program of local, national and international events year round.

And you’re in good company at QV1 Plaza. Join Eat House, Mary Street Bakery, Freshii, Hopper, Zensaki Japanese Canteen and Tiny’s Bar and Liquor Emporium.

Understanding where the customers will come from and who they are is important. QV1 Plaza customers are segmented by primary and secondary targets.

PRIMARY QV1 Plaza primary customers will be predominantly aged between 18 and 39 and work within the QV1 building, or nearby buildings within an approximate 500m radius of the precinct. The household status of these customers is likely to be dual income with no children or young families. They are employed in either a professional, clerical or administrative position and have an annual household income of between $125,000 to $250,000.

SECONDARY The secondary customer segment for QV1 is similar to that of the primary segment. However, its parameters extend to include office workers that work in the CBD, yet fall outside of the 500m radius surrounding the QV1 precinct. These customers may also include visitors to the CBD and/or QV1.

TRADE AREA QV1’s main trade area can be defined as those areas/demographics that fall into its primary and secondary sectors.

The Urbis National Office Worker Survey found that the majority of CBD workers are reluctant to walk much beyond 500m, or two city blocks, to access regular lunch time or coffee purchases. This is reflected in Urbis’ QV1 – Retail Plaza Assessment of Market Potential (August 2016) where the trade catchment area is broken into three key areas of trade.
