work around three main colours

• However I have looked at CDs and adverts of similar artists based on our genre

• These CD front covers have a clear image of the artist and they are nice and simple which is an advantage when trying to attract audiences as they mainly focus on the artist and their name, this is effective for artist recognition. They are all mainly based on black and white colours, therefore I have decided not to use any colours other than black and white when producing my ancillary work

I have been strongly influenced Jessie J ‘Who You Are’ as it is a simple and attractive album. The only distinctive colour that has been used is gold. Which is effective because her name is the only thing in gold that stands out with the clear image of her face. The shot used for the photo used is similar to the one I have decided to use on the outside panels of my digipak

For instance, Delilah and Jessie Ware, are similar artists to our artist. Their front cover of their top albums are simplistic and attractive, which is what I’m going to work around to make my digipak and advert favorable…
