Whether you will use yourT7000 Series tractor for loader workor in row-crop applications, this inno-vative New Holland feature is a“must have.”

“Lock to lock” steering, withoutthe revolutions

How many revolutions do youmake with the steering wheel eachtime you turn at the headland? Howabout when you turn to load yetanother bucketful of silage or pallet offeed? Probably three, four, maybe fiveturns of the wheel. Now take thatnumber times the dozens and dozensof times you perform those sametasks in a week, month or year. It’s

exhausting just thinking about it! TheFastSteer system saves you both energyand time by making a complete turnwith only a nudge of the steeringwheel instead of multiple revolutions.

Press the inner ringTo use the FastSteer

system, first press therocker switch on theright-hand armrestcontrol panel to makethe system availablefor use. Then, when you’re ready tomake your turn, simply press theinner ring of the steering wheel toengage FastSteer. A light on theinstrument panel indicates the systemis engaged. When you release theinner ring of the steering wheel, nor-mal steering returns instantly. Forsafety, the FastSteer system will onlyengage at speeds below 6.2 mph.

FastSteer™ option

6

Make a full right or left turn with only a 10-degreeturn of the steering wheel.

To engage FastSteer, simply press on the inner ring of the steering wheel. The FastSteer system automatically disengages when travel speed exceeds 6.2 mph.

Smooth 18x16 Power Command™ full powershift offers “set and forget” convenience.

10

The New Holland PowerCommand™ transmission puts moreworking speeds at your disposal, provides programming options thatsimplify your work, and the automaticshifting that rivals the smoothnessfound on the finest automobiles.

Automatically shifts for youThe Power Command™ transmis-

sion does the shifting for you both inthe field and on the road using apatented torque sensing system. Thesystem monitors engine speed andthe torque load at the engine flywheeland automatically shifts up or down

within a span of gears when needed.Since Power Command is a fullpowershift transmission, you willmove automatically through thegears without the need for mechani-cal shifting. Competitive-brand trac-tors that feature semi-powershifttransmissions limit the usefulness ofautomatic shifting because you haveto shift mechanically to access thenext range of gears. With PowerCommand, you have access to all thegears. When in “Auto” mode, youcan even adjust the automatic shiftpoint to suit your applications by pro-gramming the transmission to shift

when speed reduces by 5, 10, 15, 20,25 or 30 percent.

Gears 1-11 available for automat-ic field shifting

To use this feature, simply selectthe engine speed and gear that’s bestfor your work, then press the “Auto”button located on the right-hand arm-rest. The system attempts to maintainthat throttle setting and automaticallyshifts up or down based on the pro-grammable shift point you have set.You have access to all 11 gears whenworking in automatic field mode.Automatic shifting disengages when

11

you press the “Auto” button again, orif you shift above gear 11. Auto modegoes into standby when you raise thethree-point hitch, depress the clutchor move the shuttle lever from theforward position. Auto Mode auto-matically re-engages when you lowerthe three point or the shuttle isreturned to forward.

Automatic transport mode ingears 7 to 18

The advantage of the New Hollandfull powershift is evident in thismode as well. You have access to allgears from gear #7 up without making a mechanical shift – a realadvantage when you are starting outwith a heavy load. To engage auto-matic shifting during transport in 7thto 11th gear, press the “Auto” buttontwice within one second. If you are ingear 12 or above, pressing the “Auto”button once is sufficient. Automaticshifting disengages by pressing the“Auto” button, pressing the upshiftbutton or by using the shuttle lever toselect reverse. Auto mode goes intostandby when the shuttle is placed inneutral or if the clutch is depressed, and will re-engage automaticallywhen the clutch is released or theshuttle is placed in forward.

Use these additional features tosave time:

• Go To Mode – Automaticallydownshift to a pre-selected gearwhen you use the three-point hitchQuick Raise button or upshift whenyou lower the three-point hitch.

• Auto “No Clutch” Take Off• Gear Pre-Select• Speed Matching in

Transport Range

Programmable power shuttleThe convenient power shuttle

allows you to shuttle between for-ward and reverse without clutching, without stopping and withoutremoving your hands from the steer-ing wheel. Simply use your fingertipsto flick the lever located on the leftside of the steering column. Yourright hand is always free for loader orimplement operation. You can customize the shuttling action by programming the best reverse andforward gears for each job. For loaderwork, you can power into the pileand back out quickly, or programslower speeds when more precisemovement is required.

More working speedsNine of Power Command’s eighteen

forward speeds are in the two- toeight-mph working range, allowingyou to easily find the ground speed tobest match your implement’s capabilities. A top transport speed of25 mph gets you from one place toanother in a hurry. And, remember,Power Boost is available to you whentransporting in gears 16 through 18,as well as non-static PTO applications.

Creeper optionThe 28Fx12R creeper transmission

is available for specialty applicationsrequiring extra slow ground speeds;with a minimum speed of 12.3 feet perminute.

Complete transmission control is found on the convenient seat-mounted multi-controller.

The Power Command™ transmission will auto-matically shift up or down within a span of gearsbased on engine RPM and applied flywheel torque.Just press the “Auto” button to engage automaticshifting in the field or on the road.

Clutchless power shuttle is electro-hydraulicallyengaged and located to the left of the steering column for easy fingertip control

The Power Command digital display makes it easyto see your gear selection and functions such asauto-shift and custom Headland Management.

More flow, more choices

Quick response and ample oil floware part of the design of the T7000Series hydraulic system. You have thecapacity and flexibility to performmultiple hydraulic functions simulta-neously – without sacrificing per-formance.

Two-pump CCLS systemT7000 hydraulic performance

starts with the closed-center load-sensing system powered by a variabledisplacement piston pump that delivers 32 gallons per minute for therear remotes, three-point hitch andloader. Choose the optional 39-gpmpump for even more capacity. Allmodels are equipped with a separate17-gpm pump for steering and operating circuits.

Up to five electrohydraulicremotes

T7000 Series tractors provide anumber of rear remote choices.Electrohydraulic remote valves arestandard equipment with Deluxe cabmodels and optional with the stan-dard cab. They allow you to controlflow rate and timing electronicallyfrom the cab. If you choose electrohy-draulic remotes, three remotes arestandard with a fourth and fifth available. Mechanical rear remotevalves are standard equipment withthe standard cab and feature config-urable detents and mechanical flowadjustment. Three mechanicalremotes are standard with a fourththat can be requested from the factoryor installed by your dealer.

Awesome lift capacityThree-point hitch capacity for

T7000 Series tractors is an outstanding15,873 lbs for T7050 and T7060, and

12,787 pounds for the T7030 andT7040 models (all measurements areASAE @ 24 inches). That means youcan take advantage of the time savingsprovided when you use larger, widerthree-point-mounted implements thatcover more acres with every pass.Flex link ends and a turnbuckleheight adjustment make hookup abreeze. And, a fast raise/ lowerswitch is provided in the cab and onboth rear fenders.

Custom Headland Management

Manage your headland-turning routine with the press of a button. The New Holland Custom

Headland Management Systemreduces repetition and fatigue withone-button control of your headlandturn tasks. The system is standardequipment on all T7000 Series tractors.

Memorizes up to 28 tasksUse the Custom Headland

Management system to memorizeand replay a series of up to 28 tasks, including changes to the following:

• Transmission upshift/downshift• Engine speed• Engage/disengage constant RPM• Three-point hitch position• Electrohydraulic valve operation

(if so equipped)• (NOTE: The TerraLock™ system

will automatically disengageFWD and diff lock as you turnand re-engage them whenrequired.)

One-button controlThe most common use of the

system is to “record” and “play back”two separate sequences—one forexiting the row, and the second forentering the next row. After you’ve“recorded” the series of necessaryadjustments, it only takes the push ofthe “step” button on the multi-func-tion controller to play those adjust-ments back. So, instead of the normaljuggling act that is part of turning at

15

the headland, you press one buttonand the system will automaticallythrottle back, change gears and raisethe implement. Press the buttonagain, and the system repeats the sec-ond sequence you recorded to getyou back in the row and on your way.Add this convenience to the easyturning you get with the FastSteer™option, and you reduce the effortrequired at the end of the row topushing the headland button, press-

ing the inner ring of the steeringwheel and turning the wheel only afew degrees. The sophistication of theT7000 Series tractors truly means lesshassle for you.

Handy displaySymbols on the transmission

display allow you to confirm theactions that are being recorded orreplayed so you can easily keep trackof operations.

Maximum efficiency for everydriver

The Custom HeadlandManagement System benefits oldhands and novice drives alike. Itsaves every driver time and effort bytaking the annoying repetition out ofthe job. Plus, after the tractor is pro-grammed, even inexperienced driverswill achieve impressive in-field pro-ductivity by using the prerecordedsequences.

These switches on the right-hand console are used to alert the system that you are ready to record (A) orplay back (B) a sequence of actions. Then, press the “step” button on the multi function controller (C) toactually activate the recording or playback.

Fast, sharp SuperSteer™ turns

The standard 55-degree turn angleof the heavy-duty conventional FWDaxle on T7000 Series tractors providesimpressive maneuverability. Add theoptional SuperSteer™ FWD axle andno other tractor comes close.

Lightning-quick headland turnsThe SuperSteer axle pivots as the

tractor turns, adding 19 degrees ofarticulation to 46 degrees of turnangle. The result is an unmatched 65-degree turn angle. You turn sharperand faster, achieving a 35% reductionin headland turn time – a significantadvantage in row-crop work. You’llalso get in and out of tight spaces eas-ily and work more productively insmall fields. For the absolute ultimatein simple maneuvering, equip yourT7000 tractor with the SuperSteer

option AND the FastSteer™ option. This exclusive combination redefinesturning ease.

A simple, ingenious designIt’s a remarkably simple concept

that has revolutionized turning. TheSuperSteer axle is attached to the trac-tor with a simple, heavy-duty ball-and-socket joint. As the tractor turns, the whole axle pivots. The inside tiremoves away from the tractor. At thesame time, the outside wheel movesforward, in front of the nose of thetractor. This movement providesmore tire clearance, a greater turningangle and reduces turnaround diame-ter. Front ballast weights are mounteddirectly onto the SuperSteer™ axle sothey move along with the wheels andnever interfere with wheel turning.

An added bonus: a smoother rideT7000 tractors equipped with the

SuperSteer axle boast a wheelbasethat’s four inches longer for a superi-or ride.

The best turn angle in the business results in time-saving maneuverability.

The SuperSteer axle moves the inside wheel out andaway from the tractor frame, providing more tireclearance and a greater turn angle for faster, sharp-er turns. Add the 19 degrees of axle articulation tothe standard turn angle of 46 degrees for anunmatched total turn angle of 65 degrees.

17

Smooth out the rough spots with the TerraGlide™ axle optionEquip your T7000 Series tractor

with the TerraGlide™ FWD axle andyou not only get an ultra-smoothride. You also get maximum traction, stability and steering control.

Maximum control in any terrain. The TerraGlide axle provides a

remarkable 4.13 inches (105 mm) oftravel to keep the front tires in contactwith the ground, letting you easeright through rough spots andachieve a smoother, safer ride in ruttedfields, hard-packed furrows andbumpy access roads. Since fewershocks and vibrations reach you in

the cab, you enjoy a more comfortableride. More importantly, the TerraGlideaxle literally keeps the tractor moregrounded for more consistent loadingon the front tires, resulting in greatertraction and stability. Another not-so-small perk: increased drawbar pulland better in-field tractor performance.

A simple, affordable designThe TerraGlide FWD axle is a

simple, affordable design – not likecomplicated competitive systems. The system automatically self-levelsregardless of the front axle load tomaintain full suspension travel at all

times. The superior geometry allowsfront axle forces to transmit to thetractor’s center of gravity through thelong suspension arm.

Lock out when not neededWant to lock out the TerraGlide

axle? There’s no need to leave yourseat! A convenient override switch onthe armrest console allows you tolock out the front suspension betweenspeeds of .9 and 7.4 mph. This is afeature you won’t find on competitivesystems. To ensure your comfort andsafety, the suspension is automaticallyengaged at speeds over 7.5 mph.

18

TerraLock™ traction

The New Holland TerraLock™traction system ensures that maxi-mum power is put to the ground, nomatter what the working conditions.

Optimum traction at everymoment

Included as standard equipmenton all T7000 Series models, theTerraLock system provides fully auto-matic FWD and front and rear differ-ential lock engagement. The result:full-drive capability through all fourwheels for more positive traction.

Three modes match your needsThe TerraLock switch has three

positions—off, full-time and automatic. In automatic mode, the TerraLocksystem engages and disengages front-wheel drive and four-wheel differen-tial lock depending on:

• Steering angle• Forward ground speed• 3-point hitch quick raise use• Brake application

Automatic mode gives you thebest performance advantages bydelivering optimum traction whentraveling straight, then disengagingFWD and diff lock when you turn thesteering wheel to improve maneuver-ability. If forward speed exceeds 9mph, both FWD and differential lockswill also temporarily disengage.

When TerraLock is engaged full-time, both FWD and differential lockremain engaged until you activate thebrakes. You also have the option ofturning TerraLock off to completelydisengage FWD and front and reardifferential lock.

Four-wheel assisted brakingSelf-adjusting, self-equalizing

hydraulic wet disc brakes deliver thestopping power you need. Whenboth brake pedals are applied simul-taneously, FWD engages automaticallyto aid in braking action for addedcontrol.

Automatic FWD and diff lock engagement improves your productivity.

TerraLock™ system automatically controls FWD and differential lock engagement to give you maximumtraction and control.
