If new hire is foreign national, please take the time to review Immigration Services for Faculty & Scholars hiring information before discussing with your HR Liaison. There may be additional steps and a wait period to acquire appropriate documentation before hiring.

The following documentation should be submitted to HRPR:

Submit completed hiring matrix. • • Review all applications and score all applicants based on a rubric. • Add interview scores to matrix after the conclusion of interviews • Add reference check rating to matrix NOTE: Must include ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ for Veteran Preference and Former Foster Child Preference for each applicant on the hiring matrix.

Submit interview questions form • Completed by all interviewers, include any notes or test results

(if applicable). • Establish consistent, legal interview questions to ask all eligible

applicants. Must score/rate all interviews and include scores on hiring matrix.

Submit reference checks • Conduct reference checks for top applicants after interviews
