Hello. Gigwalk is a mobile workforce that lets businesses instantly coordinate and guide feet on the street.

Gigwalkers are individuals who independently find Gigs in the Gigwalk Marketplace and get paid; turning their iPhone into a second paycheck.

What is a Gig? • A small job that can take minutes to hours to complete at a

specified location. Gigs pay between $3 and $100.

Doing your First Gig• Be professional

o Remember the client wants a high quality result to help their business

• Practice o Take a photo through the applicationo Take a photo through your iPhone camera

• Read all the instructions. Twice. o Minor details in the instructions can help you avoid getting a rejection.

• Know the Gig’s purposeo Read the instructions so you can explain the Gig if asked by a business owner.

• Pro Gigwalkers can complete 5-10 Gigs per hour. o Casual Gigwalkers tend to complete 2-5 Gigs a dayo $4 Gigs are the most common

• Pro Gigwalkers earn hundreds of dollars per weeko On average, approximately $500 per week.

o We strive for a 7-business day turnaround on all payments. Clients have 5-7 days to review your Gig and payment is processed after their review.

What happens when I reach 3 submitted Pano Gigs? o In order to make sure that your Gigs are high in quality, you will be paused for review

once you have submitted 3 Pano Gigs. You can still do other Gig types.

What should I say if a business owner asks me what I’m doing? o Let them know the purpose of the Gig and that you are an independent contractor for

Gigwalk.

What should I do if the business is Shut Down? o When a business is closed please complete the “Closed Business” portion of the Gig. o Take a picture to verify the business is no longer there.o DO NOT take photos or pano’s of the new business. Each individual business needs to

have their own record.

What’s the best time to do a Gig?o When the business is open and available for you to Gigwalk. o Some Businesses will prefer that you visit them when they are less busy.

o Night Businesses, such as bars, can be completed at night – but proceed with caution.• Photos must be well-lit, the location and the interior need to be identifiable.• Please note when you submit this Gig why the Gig was completed at Night.

Photosynth GigsOptimizing your Pano Experience

Photosynth 101• What is a Panorma?

o A full circle, immersive photo that captures the ambience and details of a business.

o Panorama’s are taken with Microsoft Photosynth’s iPhone App

• Getting Setup with Photosyntho Download Photosynth from the App storeo Register / Sign-up o Go to the website – photosynth.net to set/retrieve your username – you will need this

for submitting Pano Gigs

• Practice taking a Panoramao First try your front yard (with outdoor bright light)o Next try your living room (where it is more dimly lit)

Multiple Layers • In addition to being full circle, pano’s should also capture

layers above and below the field of vision.

Single layer panos are missing images above and below the field of vision.

Only provides a partial visual experience.
