New Enhancements in Epicor Mattec MES 8.2.4

We are pleased to announce that we've made Epicor® Mattec MES even more powerful and easier to use than ever before. With Epicor Mattec MES 8.2.4 we have included a number of new features that we think you will be excited about, including:

HMI – Cell Login

The Shop Floor HMI has been enhanced to allow an operator with an efficiency role type to log into all the machines within a cell.

Next Job Screen Enhancements

The Shop Floor HMI next job screen has been enhanced to show some custom fields about future jobs.

New Enhancements in Epicor Mattec MES 8.2.4

New Real-Time Display Dashboard Tab

A new Real-time Display Dashboard tab has been added. This OEE target tab provides a new view that shows OEE and OEE component target values versus actual values.

Within the new view you can also configure target values.

Job Scheduling Tool Enhancements

The Job Schedule application has been enhanced to optionally display the previous mold used on a machine. There is also now the ability to remove a tool from a machine.

A new resource column has been added to show the tool. This controlled via the options and is disabled by default. A new right-click popup screen has been added to display previous tools. The new dialogue also allows the ability to remove tools form the list.

Last Job Tracking

The Shop Floor HMI and Real-time display have been enhanced to show the last job that was running on a machine.

The HMI has also been enhanced to show the tools that were last used on the machine. An operator can also clear/remove the tool of the current machine if the machine is in an idle state.

The Real-time display has also been enhanced to show the previous job number and last tool used on a machine.

Additional functionality has been added to the Real-Time Display to allow the last tool on a machine to be cleared.

Job Schedule Enhancements

New information can now be displayed on a job schedule: Number of tool/color changes that will occur on a day as well as the number of operators required by date/shift.

Populate Active Cavities to Subsequent Jobs

This feature ties in with scheduled cavity work that has been done in previous releases. During scheduling each job considers the previous job for a tool changes. If there is no tool change and the scheduled cavities was set to something other than the default then the current jobs’ scheduled cavities will be set to that value.

Tool Compatibility Enforcement

Mattec now has added a restriction to optionally prevent users from attaching an incompatible tool on a machine.
