La Ouenghi Golf Club is hosting the Tenth HyundaiLadies and Men’s Senior Open in New Caledoniaduring August. La Ouenghi is well known as a very friendly golf club with the local members ensuringvisitors are most welcome.

Golf & Gourmet has visited La Ouenghi and part-icipated in this tournament four times previouslyand can attest to the camaraderie and friendship.Members of La Ouenghi have also visited severalplaces in Australia with Golf & Gourmet and are looking for new locations.

Hotel accommodation is at Le Lagon in Noumea,a pleasant stroll to restaurants at Bay Citron orAnse Vata. The Hotel is also a major sponsor ofthe Hyundai Open and has excellent facilities.

This tour also visits the new Sheraton Deva Resorton the coast approximately 1.5 hours up Island fromthe International Airport. This new resort has beendesigned to embrace local architecture and the coastal setting. The golf course, where the tour willplay two rounds, follows the natural terrain and willensure memorable golfing.
