620 ArtA new art gallery is open-
ing its doors Saturday, June 13. The 620 Art Gallery & Studio will provide a cre-ative space for all ages. The gallery will feature fine art by local and regional art-ists along with a variety of art lessons and camps. New artwork will be hung monthly, with a public re-ception at the beginning of each new show.
The first exhibition, Land/escapes, will feature artwork by local plein air artists beginning June 15 with an opening reception from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 26. Artists include
• Judi Beauford• Michele Wile Choate• Beverly Dennis• Jan Frazier• Lexie McCarthy• Baron Wilson and• Amie Gonser. The artwork will be on
display through July 31.Gallery hours will be 5:30
to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Thurs-day and Friday evenings and Saturdays from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and 3 to 7 p.m.
June art classes include:• Kids Art Camp Session
1 is June 15-19. Supplies are included in the fee. Session 2 is June 22-26.
• Art & Wine Class is 6 to 8 p.m. June 27.
• Monthly Group Lessons for Adults meets weekly from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thurs-days.
• Monthly Group Lessons for Teens for ages 12-16 meets weekly from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays.
• Plein Air Workshop is 9 a.m. to 4p.m. Saturday, June
27 and limited to eight par-ticipants.
Ms. Gonser is a Round Rock artist and elementary art teacher with a master’s degree in fine arts from Florida State University. She has more than 20 years experience teaching art in many capacities from college courses, private lessons, workshops, camps and group lessons and ele-mentary public art educa-tion.
