A fresh journey to the heart of American music. With Rob Lutes (guitar, banjo, vocals), Michael Emenau (vibraphone, melodica) and Ivanhoe Jolicoeur (trumpet, flugelhorn). June 28 th | DAY DREAMERS The Day Dreamers, a Montreal-native, female-fronted indie band, mixes pop, folk and alternative sounds with classical violin, modern drumming and other unique musical accompaniment. The Day Dreamers recently completed their debut album titled “All Through The Night”, in April 2016. They have also made appearances on TV and they opened for Randy Bachman and Andy Kim. July 5 th | SARI DAJANI Sari Dajani, one of the truly outstanding songwriters to emerge from the Canadian music scene. As well as being a gifted singer and guitarist, Sari Dajani is also a songwriter and producer. He has penned songs, arranged and produced albums for many performers nationally and internationally, as well as scored and produced music for TV and film. July 5 th | JOSH ADAMS Josh Adams, a Soulful Pop Country singer and musician, began busking in the summer of 2016. That summer he joined well-known local artists in several major fund-raising concerts and now performs regularly. Doing it all with the ease and authenticity of a seasoned performer, Josh sings, plays guitar and piano and writes his own material. July 12 th | BLUE MONKEY PROJECT Blue Monkey Project is a diverse group of musicians with an array of influences, from Stevie Wonder and the Stones, to Amy Winehouse, No Doubt and Funkadelic. The result is an eclectic blend of musical energy that drives both their original material and extensive repertoire of cover songs. The BMP will rock you, funk you up and move your soul with a dynamic show that is not to be missed. July 19 th | PROJECT GROOVE Project Groove plays Funk, Soul, R&B, Disco and dance music designed to delight and entertain. Drawing on classics from Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Kool & The Gang, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin and Prince to recent hits from the likes of Bruno Mars and Pharrell Williams and much more. The range of repertoire will satisfy even the most diverse of audiences. July 26 th | MICHAEL BERARD Guitarist, composer Michael Berard presents original music from his new CD “It’s Autumn.” The music is inspired by traditional Brazilian vocal music and presented in a vocal jazz style, featuring the incredible voice of Marcia Seebaran. The band members include: pianist John Sadowy, bassist Dave Watts and drummer, Richard Irwin. Join us for some beautiful Brazilian flavored vocal jazz. August 2 nd | “SIMON DELAGE QUARTET” The Simon Delage Quartet has been active on the Montreal musical scene for many years. Its members are Simon Delage on drums, Stéphanie Laliberté on vocals, Paul Shrofel on piano and Mike de Masi on bass. The band has a vast repertoire, ranging from the great American songbook standards to modern popular songs, along with the hits from the disco era. August 9 th | KAREN YOUNG Karen Young, Sylvain Provost and Normand Guilbeault rediscover the joyous, sensual rhythms of swing. Karen Young brings a rare beauty to the standards she interprets. Virtuoso-guitarist Sylvain Provost, a master of sound-color and improvisation, provides textures that are liquid and warm. At the heart of the trio, bassist Normand Guilbeault brings it all together with extraordinary finesse.
