Seven Canadian meat scientists were among the over 200representatives from 27 countries attending the 19th AnnualEuropean meeting oí Meat Research workers held in Paris, September 2 - 7. Rubin, Canada Packers; D. W. Stanley, Universityof Guelph and R. Tresler, Canada Department of Agriculture.Four Canadian scientists presented research papers dealing withpost-mortem physio!ogy, the effect of irradiation on meat, thermalprocessing and meat microbiology.
