After listening to testimony given by Adelbert Moot in the proceedings iwought by Mrs. Edward C. Randall for an accounting of the ^Howard estate, Surrogate Hart yesterday took an djournment until the latter part of the week. ,j - . ,

Mr. Moot stated that he advised against bankruptcy procedings when the Howard Iron Works were in poor shape flnncially. He testified that bankruptcy papers were prepared but the case never got into the courts.
