Day 1 – Thursday, April 11, 2019

6:00am Coach picks up group at Nevada Union High School

6:30am Coach picks up Course Leader (Darcel Harris Lee) in Roseville

9:00am Apple Park Visitor Center

The Apple Park Visitor Center features a rooftop observation deck that overlooks the main ring-shaped building on the campus, along with a cafe, an outdoor seating area, and indoor wooden tables. Another feature of the visitor center is an “Exhibition” area where guests can use augmented reality technology using iPads to explore Apple Park virtually.

10:30am Intel Museum

The Intel Museum introduces students to the world of micro-miniature computer chips, where millions of electronic components are packed onto quarter-inch squares of silicon, and time is measured in billionths of seconds. Interactive exhibits and hands-on labs let students explore concepts and conduct their own experiments. Thousands of students visit the museum each year. A group visit usually lasts two hours and includes a guided tour and an interactive lab led by a knowledgeable museum instructor. To support the visit, the museum provides packets that include a course description, age-specific vocabulary, and suggestions for classroom activities that students can do before and after the visit.

2:00pm Tech Museum of Innovation The Tech Museum of Innovation, commonly known as The Tech, is a museum of science and technology in San Jose, California, in Silicon Valley. It is located the Plaza de César Chávez in Downtown San Jose. The Tech is considered one of the premier museums of science and technology in the United States. We will also sit back and enjoy the new 3:00pm IMAX show called Pandas!

Day 2 – Friday, April 12, 2019

7:30am Breakfast in the hotel

9:00am Googleplex TourGoogle headquarters, located in Mountain View, California, is an impressive campus that includes over 60 buildings. We will take our own outdoor tour of the Googleplex grounds. Be sure to bring a camera to snap pictures of the company's unofficial T-Rex mascot, Android statues, and self-driving cars. We will also have time to visit the Google Merchandise Store, see the Goggle Sleep Pods, and possibly visit the Google Garden and Cafeteria. 10:30am Computer History Museum3

Explore the Computer History Museum. Find out why computer history is 2000 years old. Learn about computer history´s game-changers in our multimedia exhibitions. Play a game of Pong or Spacewar! Listen to computer pioneers tell their story from their own perspective. Discover the roots of today´s Internet and mobile devices. See over 1,100 historic artifacts, including some of the very first computers from the 1940s and 1950s.

1:00 pm 49ers MuseumThe 49ers Museum provides learning platforms that connect, inspire, and engage students. The museum’s education program uses football as a platform for teaching content-rich lessons in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics), ingraining invaluable life skills, and encouraging physical activity.

2:30pm Explore Great AmericaCalifornia's Great America is a 100-acre amusement park located in Santa Clara, California. Owned and operated by Cedar Fair, it originally opened in 1976 as one of ten parks built by the Marriott Corporation. The park has appeared in 1994 films Beverly Hills Cop III and Getting Even with Dad and features over 40 rides and attractions.
