SUPPLEMENTAL NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS NO. 2 Contract No. 800-13
Reference is made to Project No. NH-STP-015-1(147), I-15 Project Neon Phase 1 – Demolition Package A, upon which bids will be received until 1:30 p.m., local time on the 28th day of March, 2013, and opened publicly on that date at the above hour.
Prospective bidders are hereby notified of the following bid item changes. Contractors will be required to submit their proposal using bid proposal forms dated March 21, 2013:

Property Address: 351 S. MLK Blvd. Las Vegas, NV 89106, APN# 139-33-601-003. Prospective bidders are hereby directed to add the following: A new electrical panel to replace the existing electrical panel shall be installed in accordance with NV Energy specifications (attached). Coordination with NV Energy for the transfer of the existing electrical service to advertising billboard sign. NV Energy will install a new meter and a feed to the meter. Work shall include connecting the line from the meter to the advertising billboard. Temporary pole height shall be approximately 25’ high to accommodate the connection between NV Energy power source pole and advertising billboard sign service. Temporary pole location shall be within 75-feet of the NV Energy power source pole. Coordinate temporary pole location with NV Energy and NDOT prior to installation. Access to the NV Energy meter will need to be provided for the monthly meter reading by NV Energy.

NOTES: 1. All temporary service installations shall meet National Electric Code (Article 305) and other City, County
or State building Codes. 2. The customer or contractor shall furnish, install and maintain at no cost to NVE, all temporary service
equipment, wire, trench, backfill, permits and all clean-up. 3. Customer or contractor will call NVE for connections to the transformer or handhole after the City or
County has inspected and approved the service. 4. NVE will install and remove the meter, energize and de-energize the service wire at the nearest junction
point. 5. All customer owned circuits shall have “Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters”. 6. Direct buried meter pedestals are acceptable. 7. If location sketches above are not applicable, the temporary pole(s) must be a 3’ min. to 6’ max. from any
