Mobile Adver6sing is the most ubiquitous way of reaching the consumer market today the most
profitable marke6ng medium today.
DMA, Mobile Marke6ng’s July 2008 survey: Consumer Perspec6ves, stated:
• SMS campaigns were the most successful mobile adver6sing medium
• 70% of those surveyed acknowledging ac6ons directly related to SMS adver6sing • whereas only 41% had responded to a survey and 30% to email offers

According to Nielson
• In Q2 2008, US mobile subscribers sent & received on average 357 text messages/month, compared with making & receiving 204 phone calls/month.
• In the Q1 2006, Americans sent & received 65 text messages/month.
• The number of messages sent & received today has increased 450%.
• In June 2008, American cell phone subscribers sent about 75 billion SMS text messages, averaging about 2.5 billion messages per day.
• This represents an increase of 160% over the 28.8 billion messages reported in June 2007

TNS Media Intelligence reports that mobile adver6sing spend in the U.S. is projected to break $1B for the first 6me in 2008, and surpass $7.5 billion by 2013.
Epsilon released CMO survey sta6ng: • 63% of marke6ng execs were planning on increasing interac6ve/digital spend • 59% reported a decrease in tradi6onal marke6ng • 29% were interested in mobile • 22% have already added mobile to their marke6ng mix Recognizing that this tough economic period is precisely the 6me when highly targeted and more effec6ve marke6ng channels play a crucial role.
