Itinerary

Sept. 5th. Miami, FL, is home to a diverse array of cultures and activities. Coral Gables, with its tree-lined

avenues and gracefully winding roadways, is the city's artsy area. Ocean Drive is Miami Beach's prime "see-

and-be-seen" locale, where beachgoers frolic against the backdrop of colorful art deco buildings. Nightlife in

Miami is among the liveliest in the world, with concentrations of discos and bars in South Beach and Coconut

Grove. Festivals and food from around the world help give Miami its multicultural flair.

Sept. 6th. Nassau, Bahamas This capital city is a constant reminder of British influence in the Bahamas.

Shoppers will want to hit the famous straw market, while those looking for some relaxation will find their place

on the white-sand beaches of Paradise Island. Snorkeling and diving excursions and outings to Crystal Cay and

Blue Lagoon Island also are popular. Ships dock just steps from downtown, making it easy to explore on foot.

(add Baha Mar tour info)

Sept. 7th. Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas. This private NCL island is an unspoiled paradise of white-sand

beaches and coconut palms, and home to lizards, seagulls and neon-colored fish. Snooze in a hammock under

a shady palm tree. Learn to snorkel in a peaceful cove where tropical fish weave around equally colorful coral

and sea fans. Dance the limbo and enjoy a beachside barbecue. Circle the island in a kayak or sailboat. Enjoy

the day! (add networking games?)

Sept. 8th. Back to Miami: We arrive back in Miami to board private buses for an Exclusive VIP tour of three

major projects being constructed in Miami: 1000 Museum, City Center, and the Ritz Carlton Residences. The

trip is specifically designed to return you to the Fontainbleau hotel just as your room becomes available and

ample time to explore before the GNE festivities begin. (add more tour info, create links to projects).

About the Ship

You'll enter the Norwegian Sky through its impressive glass-domed atrium, which soars 12 decks high. Sample champagne, vodkas and caviar at the Atrium Bar, or head to the cigar club for quiet conversation and cognac. Other gathering places include the fun, casual Sports Bar and an opulent casino. The Coffee Bar houses an Internet Cafe; a "skycam" on the bridge downloads images onto a web site, allowing family and friends back home to see where the ship has visited.

Dining options include Le Bistro, which features tableside cooking, Mediterranean cuisine and specialty desserts such as chocolate fondue and cherries jubilee.

Sports fans will make good use of the two golf driving nets and the basketball and volleyball courts located on the top deck. There are two pools, five hot tubs and a children's pool with waterfall. There are 257 staterooms with private balconies.

Frequently Asked Questions What is included in the price? Your cruise fare will include your accommodations, all meals, and beverages on the cruise along with all the entertainment and amenities on the ship. Additionlly we will be having many networking events including a cocktail party and Gala dinner in Cagney's Steakhouse, a beach party Gt Stirrup Cay A tour with lunch in Nassau of Bah Mar development, bottle of wine in your cabin, transportation to the Fountainbleau Hotel in Miami and tour of 2-3 high end residential projects in Miami upon our return. What accommodations do we suggest? We purposely chose the Norwegian Sky over the other 3 night cruises for the amount of balconies they offered. All the cabins are nice but for the maximum cruise experience we love a cabin with a balcony. If you desire more space then you will love the suites. What time do I need to be on the ship? The ship sails at 5pm. You need to arrive at least two hours before that. Embarkation starts at 12 pm and we always suggest you board close to that time so you can begin your vacation right away. Come aboard and have lunch, enjoy the pool and get familiar with your home away from home. How do I get from the airport to the ship? Both MIA & FLL International Airports offer taxi, shuttle and limo service to the cruise port & The Fontainbleau Hotel. Miami International Airport: 10 miles, approximately 20 minutes. Ft. Lauderdale Airport: 25 miles, approximately 40 minutes. (Travel times depending on traffic conditions) What do I have to pay for on the ship? Personal expenses such as photos, souvenirs and activities that I choose to participate in are not covered. A gratuity to cover room steward and waiters of approximately $11 per person per day will be added to your shipboard account. What kind of entertainment is on the ship? The Norwegian Sky has dance clubs, bars and lounges, piano bars and live music. There are nightly variety shows and a full casino. One night there is a white party with dancing on the deck. There is a beautiful spa and a full gym with state of the art machines and exercise classes. Duty free designer shopping and art auctions are also available What should I pack for the ship? Dress on the ship is very casual. Shorts and capris are perfect for day wear along swimsuits. For evening comfortable casual attire and sundresses are acceptable. Don't forget sunscreen and a hat. We suggest you pack one bag of business attire for the GNE which can be stowed under the bed and another bag of fun casual clothes for networking on the cruise.

Page 9: Networking cruise Billy and Al

How can I communicate when I am on the ship? The ship has an internet cafe with terminals and you purchase an internet package. You may also use your personal laptop and I pad on board as there is wifi.

Do I need a passport? For round-trip sailings (cruises that depart from and return to the same U.S. port), you may sail with either a valid passport, proof of citizenship and a valid government-issued photo I.D. (driver’s license with a photo), or any other WHTI compliant document.

Proof of Citizenship examples include:

State certified U.S. birth certificate Original certificate of U.S. naturalization Original certificate of U.S. citizenship Note: If you miss your ship at its scheduled U.S. departure port and need to travel

outside the U.S. to meet your ship, or should you unexpectedly need to depart the ship from a foreign port prior to the end of sailing, a passport would be required to leave or re-enter the U.S. by air. To that end, Norwegian Cruise Line strongly recommends all guests to obtain a passport for their voyage on any Norwegian Cruise Line vessel.

Should I buy travel insurance?

A travel insurance plan can cover you for unexpected costs incurred before or during your trip. So that costs are less likely to come out of your own pocket, a travel insurance plan can reimburse you

for the pre‐paid, non‐refundable portions of a trip if you need to cancel or interrupt your trip for a covered reason. A travel insurance plan can also include medical evacuation coverage (the price of which may cost upwards $100,000) 1 and medical expense coverage, plus reimbursement for lost, damaged or stolen luggage and personal effects. Most travel insurance plans also include 24/7

assistance services to re‐book flights and hotels on your behalf and act as a personal travel assistant while you are away from home. As with all travel insurance plans, always carefully read each DOC (description of coverage) to learn the boundaries of your coverage before purchasing the plan.

Travel insurance offers travelers coverage for unforeseen problems, from a cancelled flight to a serious illness—or in rare cases, even an act of terrorism or the financial default of a travel supplier. If an illness, accident, or other covered unforeseen circumstance forces a traveler to cancel or interrupt their travel plans, they face two potentially major financial losses—money invested in nonrefundable pre-payments and medical expenses that in many instances may not be covered by health insurance.
