Nesma Training Center: A Destination of Intelligence and Education

Nesma Training Center (NTC) hosted “The Little Trader” project by Intellectual Elite Enterprise. “The

Little Trader” is a children’s business fair that aims to train and educate youngsters in developing entrepreneurship and marketing skills in the areas of business principles, merchant ethics and presentation skills.

Additionally, NTC signed an agreement with Hanan Nature Foundation, which is the Director of the Brain Gym Academy, an affiliate of the Saudi Chess Training Federation. NTC will be hosting ladies, youth and kids’ chess training activities for one year.

Other agreements were signed with Omnyate Foundation for special needs childcare and Kanyama program for kids education. NTC will be providing Omnyate and Kanyama with the space for children’s activities and programs.

About the General Manager

Mohammed Al-Ansari joined Nesma Holding in 2001 as the Director of the President’s office. He then became the Manager of the Western Region at Nesma & Partners. Finally, in 2015, he secured his position as Mawaddah’s General Manager.

Al-Ansari’s current objective for Mawaddah is to standardize the quality of its services by acquiring the 9001:2015 ISO certification. In the long term, Mohammed Al-Ansari aims to make Mawaddah the best company in the Hajj and Umrah services in Makkah and Madinah.

Mawaddah International Group is licensed by the Ministry of Hajj (License No. 154) to issue visas for packages to its clients within a mere 24 hour period, allowing Mawaddah to offer its clients a ‘one stop solution’ for all their Umrah-related needs. The company has recently started working on unifying all the company’s hotels in both Makkah and Madinah and it’s also working on receiving its certification from the International Organization for Standardization (IOS).

Mawaddah is currently expanding in newer markets including: India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, the Maldives, the UK, France, the United States and nations in Africa. Ahmed Bakran, Group Sales & Marketing Manager, says, “We have been successfully expanding our global network and continuously building and strengthening our market share around the world.”

Al-Turki Appointed as Vice President of the Saudi Arabian Shooting Federation

Nesma Holding’s Executive Manager, Group Support Services, Noura Al-Turki, has been appointed Vice President of the Saudi Shooting Federation.

In addition to Al-Turki, the Board of Directors of the Saudi Shooting Federation includes Fares Saadi, President, Mazen Al-Jubeir, Musab Al-Muhaideb and Rakan Al-Fadl.

Nesma Airlines Hail Operations Reach 200,000 Passengers

As part of a national project plan by the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Nesma Airlines launched its first flights from Hail International Airport to King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh with a total of three flights per week.

Nesma Airlines’ Spokesperson and Public Relations Manager, Raghdah Al-Sulimani, commented, “Currently, Nesma Airlines has 12 destinations operating from Hail Central Airport and has completed a year in its operations in the Northern Airports with more than 8,000 flights, carrying 200,000 passengers.”

New Jollibee Opens in Riyadh

Jollibee celebrated the opening of its newest branch at Villagio Mall in Riyadh.Jollibee Villagio Mall is the KSA’s 14th store and the 2nd in Al Batha district, downtown the Saudi capital. The opening ceremony was attended by Jollibee’s General Manager, Faisal Bamhrez; Jollibee’s Operations Head, Ronel Nape; Turki Basabrain, HR and Admin Manager and Saleh Ali Alharthi, the Executive Director of Villagio Mall.

Nesma Trading Receives the “2017 Best and Top Performance Contractor Award” from Schlumberger

Nesma Trading’s Facilities Management Division received the “2017 Best and Top Performance Contractor Award” among all contractors working with Schlumberger. The award was given during the contractors’ SQ and HSE performance meeting in Schlumberger’s Udhailiyah, in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.

Additionally, Nesma Trading’s Schlumberger project team achieved one million safe man hours without lost time incidents.

BAYAT Hotel by Nesma Orbit

Nesma Orbit’s Riyadh team finished working on BAYAT Hotel by Crystal in Khamis Mushayt, south-west Saudi Arabia.

Nesma started working on BAYAT project in November 2015 with a project scope including the hotel’s gym, a spa area with a pool, bathrooms and a countertop, restaurants, coffee shops and a hardscape with marble and porcelain.

Nesma Holding Sponsors Ertkaa Campaign

Nesma Holding sponsored Ertkaa campaign in Al Lith, a city in Tihamah region, south-west of Makkah. The campaign, conducted by the Community Partnership Unit in the Department of Girls’ Education in Al Lith, aims to educate families about ways to communicate with their children’s schools in order to spread the culture of partnership among schools, families and the society.

N&P Toastmasters Club Participates in the 11th Annual Speech ContestThe 11th Annual Speech Contest of Nesma & Partners’ Toastmasters Club was conducted on January 27.

The winner in the international and humorous speeches was Saif Rahman, Training and Development Unit Head and the winner in table topics and evaluation speech was Mohammed Kadari, HR Consultant. Congratulations!

N&P Supports Students and People with Disabilities Nesma & Partners has been certified as “Bronze” by Mowaamah for having a work environment that is suitable for people with disabilities.

Mowaamah is a project owned by the Saudi Ministry of Labor and Social Development and it adopts the best practices in creating work environments suitable for people with disabilities.

Further, Nesma & Partners’ QA/QC Department Manager, Ahmed Bakhour, met with sponsored students at ITQAN Institute.

Nesma & Partners is sponsoring a 2-year training program for 19 Saudis at ITQAN Institute in the field of quality control.

The Inspection Technology and Quality Assurance National Institute (ITQAN) provides a 2-year vocational diploma in the field of quality control in five main areas including Mechanical Inspector, Welding Inspector, Electrical Inspector, Civil Inspector and Non–Destructive Testing Inspector.

Mohamed Alboji is Nesma Holding’s Technical Support Supervisor in the IT Department.

His job tasks include following up with all the IT requests made by Nesma Holding’s

employees in addition to requests from Nesma Group companies. He also transfers requests to the authorized employees in the IT department in order to solve different technical problems.

Growing with Nesma:Mohamed Alboji

In 2001, Alboji joined Nesma Holding as a Data Entry Officer. Then he was promoted to join the Customer Services Department in 2004 before he was promoted to Customer Services Supervisor in 2008. Finally, in 2013, Alboji joined the Information Technology Department as a Technical Support Supervisor.

Speaking about what he learned from his experience at Nesma, Mohamed Alboji says, “I learned about the meaning of transparency and commitment, in addition to the importance of respect and humility among the staff. Here at Nesma, we are one family.”

A general assembly meeting was held at Nesma Holding including the attendance of Nesma Holding’s President, Sh. Saleh Al-Turki.

The assembly shared the company’s 2017 successes along with a number of employee achievements.
