NT&T is Awarded NEOM’s Fixed Line Network Project Nesma Telecom & Technology (NT&T) was awarded a fixed line network infrastructure project in NEOM, valued at SAR 380 million.

NT&T’s scope of work includes the network's design, implementation, operation & maintenance services.

Referring to the importance of Nesma’s involvement at NEOM, Salah Al-Sunaid, NT&T’s CEO, commented, “In line with Saudi Vision 2030, we at NT&T are committed to our vision of being one of the leading companies in the field of information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure by being part of mega development projects and futuristic smart cities’ plans in our country.” He added, “This project is considered to be the base of NEOM’S infrastructure and the network will function as the city's backbone which can be utilized to meet NEOM’s internal requirements and surely support the city’s expansion plans in the coming years.”

Also, at a NEOM organized event, Nesma’s Corporate Communications Executive Manager, Rana Zumai, spoke about “The Importance of Partnerships in Encouraging a Culture of Innovation”.

The three-day event was held at FBS University in Tabuk in celebration of Global Entrepreneur Week (GEW) and in support of the kingdom's efforts to develop more small and medium-sized enterprises.

Makkah Buses project released a new video to communicate the project to the public. The latest updates at the project include completing overall bus testing and initiating construction of the project’s bus stops.

Soon Makkah buses will serve residents and visitors through five 300-km-long BRT lines and and seven local lines that are supported by 160 articulated buses each accommodating up to 125 passengers.

In December 2018, TNC, a Saudi and Spanish consortium that includes Nesma Holding, Alshoula Group, Maghrabi Group and Imathia, with Consultrans and TCC as Spanish partners, established the Modern Bus Company as a special-purpose limited company to work on the design, procurement and operation of the Makkah Public Transportation Program (MPTP).

Nesma High Training Institute Acquires ISO 9001:2015 Certification Nesma High Training Institute has achieved new international certification, with the ISO 9001:2015, the gold standard for quality management systems and a framework for maintaining high quality services at the training institute.

Nesma United celebrated the opening of Chowking’s newest branch, located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Chowking is a Philippine-based chain concept which combines Western fast food service style with Chinese food. The first restaurant in Saudi Arabia opened its doors in 2016 marking the fifth GCC country for Chowking, with 28 restaurants throughout the region.

Nesma Virtual Leadership Program Hosts 2nd Workshop

As part of Nesma Holding’s “Nesma Virtual Leadership Program,” a Digital Transformation workshop was held for Nesma employees joining from across the group.

The 2-day workshop was delivered by world-class presenters: Fabian Vandenreydt, owner of Fabian VDR Advisory Services; Paris de l’Etraz, Managing Director of IE Venture Labs and Michael Lepech, Associate Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Woods Institute for the Environment at Stanford University.

Nesma & Partners’ Teams Celebrate One Million Safe Man Hours Nesma & Partners’ teams at KAUST Utilities Expansion project and the Water Handling-SGDB D&P Office project celebrated their projects’ achievements of one million safe man hours without time lost due to injury.

The two teams also received certificates of recognition from their respective clients.

Congratulations toMr. Rami Alturki Nesma congratulates Executive Vice Chairman, Nesma & Partners, Mr. Rami Alturki, for earning royal trust and being appointed as a representative member of the private sector to the Board of Directors of the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zone.

Alfifi, who has extensive experience in the security field, will be responsible for supervising the overall security functions in the company and providing safety to the office staff and buildings.

FACES OF NESMA:. .Khalid Aqeel.

Khalid Aqeel is one of the many talents of Nesma. He first joined Nesma in February 2016 as Nesma Airlines’ head of recruitment and within a short time, was named Human Resources and Administration Manager making him the youngest airline HR manager in the Middle East.

Aqeel, who has 14 years’ experience in multinational companies, says he’s thankful to Nesma for the opportunities he’s been provided and proud to be part of the progressive company that hired the first female commercial pilot in Saudi Arabia.

When asked about his goals for the future, Khalid Aqeel said, “I’m planning to grow my career through focusing on my education in the human resources field. Thankfully, I’m part of Nesma where the sky’s the limit regardless of where you’re at! Here, if you put in the effort you can definitely reach your goals and successfully move your career forward! ”

Then, he moved to Modern Bus company where he was promoted to his current role as the company’s HR and admin manager.

In addition to his bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Aqeel holds a leadership development diploma from Crestcom International Institute.
