Neptune in Pisces rediscovers Andersens first fairy tale

Experts in Denmark believe they have found the first story written by Hans Christian Andersen. TheTallow Candle was discovered by local historian Esben Brage in the dense private archives of the Plumfamily, revealed Danish paper Politiken, which printed the story in its entirety today. Brage was in thereading room at the National Archive for Funen in Odense when he stumbled across a small, yellowingpiece of paper at the bottom of a box and realised it might be important. Two months later, experts havenow confirmed that the story was written by Andersen. "This is a sensational discovery. Partly becauseit must be seen as Andersen's first fairytale, and partly because it shows that he was interested in thefairytale as a young man, before his authorship began," Ejnar Stig Askgaard of the Odense CityMuseum told Politiken. "And I am in no doubt that it has been written by Andersen." Experts BrunoSvindborg of the Royal Library and Professor Johan de Myliu have also agreed the text was written byAndersen. The story tells of a little candle, dirtied by life and misunderstood, which eventually findshappiness after a tinder box sees the good at its heart and lights it. "The Tallow Candle had found itsright place in life and shown that it was a real candle, and went on to shine for many a year, pleasingitself and the other creations around it," writes Andersen.[1]

We present another example of how eclipses continue to create events long afterthey are over. Shown above is the chart for the 21st May 2012 eclipse at Odense,Andersens birthplace. Notice that the eclipse has taken place in the fourth house. The fourth house in mundane astrology rules hidden treasures literally andfiguratively. The eclipse [0ge21] is in tropical Gemini, a sign associated with libraries, books and writers so that it is appropriate that this hidden treasure was found in anarchive. It is square Neptune so that it is not just any kind of writer but aninspirational writer whose work is being discovered.

If we progress this chart by the Wynn Key method we find the Ascendant at 0ge52

conjunct the eclipse position 0ge21 and square Neptune in Pisces. In my last post

Fixed stars and the legacy of Grimms' Fairy Tales , I had quoted Anita on Neptune inPisces [2] wherein she mentions:

Many famous classic works of art were created during the last station of NeptunePisces between 1850 and 1865 especially fairy tales such as those written byLewis Carroll-Alice in Wonderland (fantasy), Moby Dick (whale-the sea), Madame

Bovary-infidelity, Hans Christian Andersen-fairy tales, Charles Dickens, Mark Twain,Grimm fairy tales [revised edition] -painters such Renoir, Degas, Van Gogh, Matisse,Monet, Gauguin, Cezanne were also prominent during this time. Perhaps [duringNeptune in Pisces] we will see some revival of timeless classic literature, art andmusic that again strikes the pulse of our current times with a riveting impactremembered for centuries and again brought down in history.

With the discovery of Andersens first fairy tale, it appears that her words wereprophetic!

Hans Christian Andersen was born on 2 April 1805 at 01:00 (= 01:00 AM ) atOdense, Denmark, 55n24, 10e23; Timezone LMT m10e23 (is local mean

    time); Rodden Rating AA

A chart with AA rating is always an astrologers delight since all the elementsincluding the Ascendant can be relied upon. We immediately notice that the 13th

December New Moon [21Sa45] was closely conjunct Andersens Ascendant at18Sa07. The chart for the New Moon at Odense shows the horizon axis occupied bythe New Moon, Pluto on the Ascendant opposite Kronos-Hades on the descendantwith both square Uranus. Uranus-Pluto is about emergent, formerly repressed orhidden content. Kronos-Hades is a famous historical personage so was the NewMoon indicating that something about a famous person was about to be brought tolight!

For readers who might like to explore a bit more here are a few more delightfulcoincidences:

    - the lunar eclipse [6ge47 6sg47] of 28th November at Odense was exactly on thehorizon axis [6ge07 6sg07]. The eclipse highlighted a Jupiter-Neptune square acombination associated with the dissolution of the boundaries of the rational mindand therefore appropriately connected with fairy tales.

    - the Sabian symbol of the eclipse Moon 6ge47 was:

A WELL WITH BUCKET AND ROPE UNDER THE SHADE OF MAJESTIC TREES.The power of the collective and bio-spiritual energies [perhaps in the form of folklore]which sustain all earth-rooted cultures is stressed, in contrast to whatever thetechnological mind of man can make available to increase his personal comfort andmastery over matter.

    - Andersens solar return chart for 2012 has Neptune [2pi] on the Ascendant!!
