To guarantee our innovative potential and high technology, we inaugurated in 2009 the New Industrial
Complex with 12.000 m² in one plot of 50.000m², expanding the production potential like no other
one in Latin America. The entire project was thought up so that the structure could transmit our values:
advances in technology, respect for human beings and socio-environmental responsibility.
Besides being able to count upon the best
and most modern robotic equipment, the New
Industrial Complex hosted a complete materials
laboratory: The Integrated Laboratory of Materials
– LIM, aimed directly at research, development
and quality control. In LIM, we have the Scanning
Electron Microscope (MEV), which assures
quality from the raw-material through to the end
product. The equipments for mechanical and
metallographic tests assess long-term resistance
and enable the microstructural analysis of
products. All of this is reflected in excellence for
you, client who trusts and takes our name into
your consulting room.

The respect to human standards is a principle trait in the architectural design of the New Industrial Complex,
highlighted by the preference for naturally lit environment and of the use of materials and technologies that
provide greater thermoacoustic comfort. Now, our employees have much more infrastructure and ergonomy
for their daily activities. We also have a fully-equipped restaurant visually integrated into the grove, which
attends to the necessities of the employees and visitors, including during the diverse events promoted.
Concerned with constant trainning, we constructed a spacious auditorium to promote the transmission of
knowledge, one of the important pillars of our essence. Besides intellectual development, encouragement
towards sport is also a priority: sport courts, a golf course, football and wood forest for hiking. These values
are the base of a strong trademark that focuses on the people and works for their wellbeing.

HowtheNeoshapeCAD/CAMSystemworks:
TheMillingCenter
The dental prosthesis technician (DPT) can plan on
the computer screen in three-dimensional shape
all aesthetic and functional details of differents
prosthetic resolutions in day-to-day laboratorial.
After the virtual waxing conclusion, a computer file is
sent to the Neodent Milling Center. The information
management is carried out on every received case;
then, the file is forwarded to manufacture, where
the latest equipment, dedicated exclusively to the
Neoshape System, produces the received cases with
precision and quality guarantee.
There is where the waxing stops being virtual and
becomes real, adding up Neodent technology to the
professional knowledge and patient biotype, making
smiles more natural and beautiful.
The Neoshape System offers a large library of
prosthetic interfaces jointly with its 3D modeling
software.
The fabrication process starts with the receiving of
the 3D archive, already projected by the prothesis
technician, using the CAD modeling software (virtual
waxing).
Then, the CAM software defines the best strategy for
the production of the received file, taking into account
the dimensions and the particularities of each case, in
order to get the result exactly as the same projected by
a professional.
The latest technology machines execute the milling in
an efficient way and with high precision, making the
fabrication possible from the single copings through to
complete arches.
The exquisite finishing of the margin lines, edges and
the adaption of the copings and customized abutments
with the help of Neoshape system are insurmountable.
Amongstthem:
•Rotational External Hex;
•Anti-rotational External Hex;
•Mini Conical Abutment;
•Universal Post;
Also, there is a available option: the metallic
interfaces, cemented to the personalised abutments,
so that the contact of the implant is obtained
through metal with metal.
•Anti-rotational External Hex;
•Internal Hex.
Once all the fabrication procedures are
concluded, the products are sent directly to the
professionals, who now has more time to
carry out the perfect layering of
the porcelain, ensuring
quality and aesthetics
in their work.
Independent from the chosen material for
the prosthesis construction, the mechanical
properties and the quality guarantee are ensured
by international raw materials of controlled origin,
reinforcing our ethical commitment and offering
you products with excellence.

Following years of intense research and development
of new technologies, Neodent has achieved the
most modern and current techniques for the surface
treatment of implants: the Neoporos Surface.
Based on the abrasive blasting concept followed by
acid subtraction, the Neoporos Surface promotes, from
on the use of oxides with controlled granulometry,
irregular craters on the implant surface, which are then
standardized by the acid subtraction technique.
The surface uniformity is obtained during the abrasive
blasting and is assured by virtue of the speed robotised
control, pressure and particle size that collide with the
implant.
Various scientific studies are still under way, so that the
Neoporos surface is always evolving and promoting

RESPECTING YOUR WORK:
CYLINDERS FOR OVERCASTING
The cylinders and UCLAs for overcasting present
with perfect adaption and perfect fitting,
following international quality regulations and
standards. The dimensional tolerance between
implants, intermediates and manufactured belts,
as well as the individual analysis of each piece,
are the differences of these components that
pass through strict industrial quality control at a
micrometric level.
All of these products are manufactured using the
latest equipment, ensuring the best adaption.
Castable polymers sleeves fitted over the
metal bases are replaced with metal after the
overcasting process, thus the pre-fabricated
metalic base has a higher fusion temperature
than the metal to be overcast. Such polymers
facilitate the finishing process of the parts and
ensure the overlapping of the overcast metal to
the pre-manufactured metal. However, the casting
process does not follow the same quality control
that the manufacturing process does, therefore,
the dental technician should often check for
the absence of positive metallic porosities in the
screw passage tube. Therefore, the overcasting
technique maintains the quality of the fittings
among the guaranteed parts from the factory and
enables the design and individualisation of the
infrastructure, to allow additional material on the
manufactured base to hold its shape.
The use of these products should be carried
out in accordance with the handling instructions
as described in the manual, as well as in the
instructions provided by the various manufacturers
of overcasting alloys. Thus, the oral rehabilitation
team can ensure success for the technique more
safely. For best results, always use the entire
sequence of Neodent® products (analogues,
abutments, screws, transfer copings, and protectors).
Believing in the importance of allowing the
customer to choose the product, we offer different
metallic alloy cylinders with pre-fabricated belts
bases for overcasting.
They are:
− Cobalt-Chromium;
− Tilite;
− Gold (Gold Alloy);
− Zirconia.

HANDLING OF
CYLINDERS FOR OVERCASTING
Regardless of the type of alloy chosen, the
dental technician should take special care when
handling the pre-fabricated cylinders, thus
improving the quality of the overcasting and the
ceramic application processes.
1. Waxing:
The edges waxing of the component cannot
overrun the borders that come into contact with
the implant or the prosthetic component (metallic
base of cylinder), guaranteed to preserve and
adapt the industrial quality control process.
2. Overcasting:
The prosthetic cylinders are made non-sterile
and are suitable for single use. The metal bases
are manufactured with alloys that have a high
fusion temperature compared to the metal that
is to be overcast. In cases where the metal for
overcasting has a higher fusion temperature than
the manufactured parts, they will deform due
to high temperatures. However, if the metal due
to be overcast has a fusion temperature much
lower than the metal in the base, bonding may
occur between the parts and the base of the
component, which could result in the release of
the infrastructure.
All the cylinders with pre-fabricated bases are
evaluated one by one, from the reception of the
raw material, which is analysed before production,
to its final packaging, ensuring quality throughout
the entire manufacturing process.
3. Finishing and metal polishing:
The disembedding of the casted object at
the coating must be done carefully, avoiding
abrasive jets blasts, which may alter the pre-
fabricated surface.
It is recommended to machining the final
infrastructure at a low rotation with the use
of refrigeration, with specific drills for metal.
Both of the areas corresponding to the stop of
the head of the prosthetic screws inside the
passing tube must maintain their full original
shape, without the presence of positive metal
porosities or deformations.
The edges of the cylinders must be covered by
polishing protectors during the polishing and
the finishing of the infrastructure. Corrosive
materials, such as those with iron particles,
should also not be used.
Very strict criteria should be applied, because
flaws in overcasting procedure may cause the
loss of the entire work.
4. Ceramic application:
The porcelain choice should correspond
to the used alloy (CoCr, Tilite or Gold). The
ceramic cannot be applied directly over the
manufactured bases of the cylinder, so that the
waxing and the overcasting ensure a complete
covering of the infrastructure area in which the
ceramic is to be applied.

COBALT-CHROMIUMPRODUCTS LINE (CoCr)
The cylinders for overcasting with pre-
fabricated bases of Cobalt-Chromium (CoCr),
have a high resistance to water corrosion and
elevated mechanical resistance to withstand
occlusal loads. This is an alloy that has a high
biocompatibility and is easy to use by the
technician, with an excellent acceptance of
ceramic application for CoCr. In addition, this alloy
is compatible with one of the strongest trends in
healthcare worldwide in its absence of Nickel in
its chemical composition, resulting in lower risks
of allergenic reactions when in contact with living
tissues, such as the oral mucosa.
Several cylinders and UCLAs are available in this
alloy, and from the customised infrastructures
of the Neoshape line. Note the options and
mechanical characteristics (rotational or anti-
rotational) for each case, as well as the sequence
of products found in this catalogue.

TILITE LINE
The cylinders for overcasting with pre-fabricated
bases in Tilite must always be overcast with
Tilite alloys (Talladium, Curitiba, Brazil). The Tilite
metallic alloys are alloys with a highly resistant
NiCr base. The pre-fabricated base has a high
fusion temperature, accepting only the Tilite
alloys for overcasting. Depending on the ceramic
used by the dental technician, they must select
which Tilite alloy is to be made in overcasting,
according to the table below:

GOLD LINE
Among the metallic alloys, the cylinders for
overcasting with pre-fabricated bases in gold are to
be the first choice for the construction of prosthetic
infrastructures on dental implants. Of all of the
existing metallic alloys for the manufacture of
dental prosthesis, none were better than the gold
alloys in relation to intraoral survival time due to
their following characteristics:
• Excellent biocompatibility: no cytotoxic potential
(extraction test ISO 10993-5) or allergenic reaction
(ISO 10993-10 maximized);
• Extremely low levels of corrosion (according to
regulation ISO/DIS 10271);
• Excellent mechanical properties;
• Reduction of friction coefficient between parts;
• Increased pre-load of the prosthetic screw.
From a technical point of view, this is an alloy
of easy handling for the DENTAL TECHNICIAN,
since it has an optimal hardness, low capacity for
deformation and a white colouring, which makes
aesthetics easier. Its high fusion temperature
permits overcasting with gold and semi-gold alloys
and results in complete safety for the ceramic
application.
Cylinders on mini abutments and UCLAs are
available in this alloy.
Importantinformation:
• Melting range: 1.400 to 1.490°C (2.552 to 2.714 °F);
• Density: 17,5 g/cm³;• Coefficient of thermal expansion: 12,2µm/K (600°C).
The alloys must be chosen to be compatible
with the overcasting procedure (gold or semi-
gold) that are in accordance with regulation
ISO 9693 and ISO 22674.
The thickness of the metal after overcasting
should be at least 0.5 mm.
Welding must be done in the range of 800 to

ALUMINA LINE
In line with global aesthetic trends, the following
cylinders are available for the sequence of
Universal Posts made of Aluminium Oxide: The
Alumina line, indicated to cemented unitary
prostheses without metal, have the following
characteristics:
• Superior aesthetics and excellent
biocompatibility;
• Absence of metallic margin;
• Best translucency;
• Security on marginal adaptation;
• Effective Mechanical properties;
• No possibility of thermal conductivity or
oxidation;
• Excellent cost/ benefit;
• Technical procedures widely known by the
DENTAL TECHNICIANS.
Note the sequence of procedures for utilization of
this product found in this catalogue.
Aluminized feldspatic ceramics are suitable for
the application of these Alumina cylinders. Some
situations require the customisation of the cylinder
in order to avoid the excess of unsupported
feldspar ceramics, as following the manufacturer’s
instructions of the ceramics. For this, the DENTAL
TECHNICIAN must use aluminized ceramics of
margin or reconstruction, fabricating the final
infrastructure before the application of the porcelain.

ZIRCONIA PRODUCTS LINE (Y-TZP)
Zirconium (Zr) is the basic chemical element of
Zirconia line. In accordance with the periodic
table, this is a transition metal and has many
interesting features, such as high mechanical
and corrosion resistance. From this element, is
obtained Zirconium Dioxide (ZrO2), better known
as Zirconia.
Zirconia has white colour and a crystalline
monocyclic structure. The addition of Yttrium
Oxide (Y2O3) in its composition results in the
formation of a tetragonal crystal (TPZ), which,
from a mechanical point of view, is very important
because it inhibits the propagation of cracks, a
fact commonly noted in ceramics in general.
With the scientific name of Tetragonal Zirconium
Oxide Polycrystal, stabilized with dense Yttrium
highly pure (Y-TZP), the Zirconia line is compliant
with regulation NBR ISO 13356. It has the
following characteristics:
•Biocompatibility;
•White colouring;
•High resistance to corrosion;
•Limits the formation of cracks;
•High fracture tenacity.
Today, there are few industries that have the
technology to process Zirconia. Therefore, after
intensive research, we can offer our clients a
line of UCLAs, Universal and Anatomical Posts,
as well as customizable infrastructures with our
Neoshape line. Not the sequence of this product
found in this catalogue.
Importantinformation:
•Density: 5,3 g/cm³;
•Flexural resistance: ≥ 1700 MPa.
Special care must be taken when handling
Zirconium. The Posts, UCLAs, and infrastructures
should not be subjected to the sterilisation,
which may result in the loss of their mechanical
properties. Moreover, some precautions should be
taken during the preparation:
•The use of fine grained diamond drills;
•Sufficient refrigeration;
•Finishing with specific rubber rotatory
instruments to avoid micro-cracks.
Porcelains specific for Zirconia must be chosen for
application. Note that in some cases the UCLAs
may need the infrastructure in order to increase
the ceramic volume supported in function of
the distance of the antagonist and proximal
dental elements. The Universal Posts must have
infrastructures, whether customizable with
Neoshape system, or over aluminium cylinders.

CASTABLE PRODUCTS LINE
A product line that gives to DENTAL TECHNICIAN
complete freedom to cast the infrastructure with
a metallic alloy of their choice, directly over the
implant platform or abutment. Often, price is
the decisive factor in this choice. Therefore, the
adaptation quality to the implant primarily depends
on the care in handling by the professional,
providing quality assurance of prosthetic
components with pre-fabricated metallic base.
After casting, we suggest that you always evaluate
the adaptation of the analogues prior to cementing
the crown.
The castable components are available for all
cylinders on intermediary, Universal Posts and
UCLAs. Note the sequence of this product found in

TITANIUM LINE
Among the more traditional alloy in implantology,
there is the Titanium, conforming to regulation
ASTM F136- Ti6Al4V. Known as Titanium grade V,
it is widely used in the manufacture of provisional
prosthesis. The dentist or the DPT can adapt resin
crowns pre-fabricated over the cylinders and can
create temporary crowns with perfect fitting and
security, or even create a temporary crown directly
over the cylinders, which can be used in immediate
loading situations. The prosthetic components in
Titanium are provided sterile, guaranteeing security
and strengthening our ethical commitment with
you. Pre-fabricated components in Titanium must
not be overcasted. Although Titanium has a high
fusion temperature (approx 1680 ºC), the alloy
undergoes structural changes when subjected to
high temperatures. Therefore, metallic alloys with
Titanium base still remain a challenge to the science
of dental material.
The Titanium prosthetic components are offered as
cylinders for all intermediates and implants, also as
customized infrastructures with the Neoshape line.
Note the mechanical characteristics (rotational or
anti-rotational) of each case and the sequence of

IMPORTANT: Never store the material without complete drying.
Drying is very important to prevent oxidations.
ATTENTION: Do not use not incrusted products (non-enzymatic).
They tend to darken the pieces and also cause oxidation. The
use of enzymatic liquid with concentration higher than 10%, as
well as drying of pieces containing cleaning solution residues,
helps oxidation and must be avoided. Ins

Electronic Electronic and Mechanical (Dynamometre)
The Neosurg XT and XT Plus are small, light and can be easily transported anywhere. The products are ideal for anyone who tends to more than one surgery and wishes to have just one surgical motor.
As well as electronic calibration, the Neosurg XT Plus has a torque ratchet to guarantee yet more precision of the micro motor and contra-angle. The calibration is executed directly by the professional, without the need for maintenance from the manufacturer.
It´s not necessary to autoclave, the hose system is sterilisation only.
Allows perfect adaption of the irrigation handle, offering resistance and security. Can be sterilised.
Use the magnetic induction system, which does not produce noises nor vibrations. High Precision of the torque and variation of speeds.
Rigid body of the micro motor to not risk breaking. Doesn´t lose brightness with time of use, unlike the LED.
Highly resistant Titanium Body (XT Plus version), Internal and external irrigation system. Head with a reduced size and ergonomically compact body. Better visibility, access and mobility within the oral cavity.
All adjustments of the irrigation system, programs and speeds can be triggered by the pedal, leaving the hands free for surgical procedure. It was developed to avoid the accidental activation of micro motor system (progressive acceleration.)
