What You Need to Know While Planning a Journey to Positano

Positano is one of the great finds of the Amalfi Coast in Italy which is well-known with jet-setters and newly-weds on their honeymoon as well. It is amazingly wonderful because of one unique feature- it is generally designed into the cliffs of Southern Italy.From the top of the street, it meanders down to the Mediterranean sea below.

Many of the resorts - particularly the ones greater up in the hills - have million-dollar opinions of the water and the city itself. This is another function that creates so well-known Positano.

The town itself has a one-way road that winds down and then up through the town. There are also stairways designed into the cliffs that take you in between the homes or resorts up the hill.

You could also get a private car or a taxi to drive you straight from Naples international airport to your resort in Positano.

There is a shopping place in the main town section that gradually becomes a pedestrian-only place, scenery, full of unique stores, bars and even a few resorts which are not visible. This place progressively winds down towards the seaside place.

Down by the water, there are several community seaside places and a few personal fee-based seashores as well where you can sit and dip up the sun. There is also an excellent boardwalk where you can shop and get an ice cold cappuccino and people-watch.
