Situation

The Client, a mid sized provider of insurance and financial services acquired a packaged web-based application to track performance of their business. The system had been in production usage for 3 years and contained a huge amount of data. The system functionality couldn’t be tailored to the financial industry’s unique requirements, and did not support data analysis and report building tasks. Additionally, since no technical documentation for data export was available, migration to a more robust solution seemed impossible. The Client was looking for a partner capable of designing a data analysis tool and integrating it with their existing software
