NDSCS Policy Statement2Accident and InjuriesALL accidents, injuries, and near missesneed to be reported on an Incident Reportto HR within 24 hours of the incident NDCC 65-05-01.2 This includes all incidents - even those that do not require medical attention

3Medical EmergencyMinimum emergency plan is to:

Call 911 or Campus Police at 3-2233Report nature of the emergency and locationSend personnel to the entrance of the building or a location to direct emergency responders Warn employees and students in danger

4Emergency PlanningBomb Threat FloodSevere WeatherViolence in the WorkplaceWinter StormSpill and Leak Emergency Plan

5Fire EmergencyPull down nearestalarm to alert andevacuate building

Call 911Provide descriptionof fire and the location

6Fire EmergencyExtinguish fire if properly trained. If not, evacuate the building. Follow departmental shutdownif time permits and it is safe:

Disconnect electrical equipmentTurn lights onClose, but do not lock doorsEvacuate from the building, 50 feet away
