L´ALQUERIA DEL BASKET- VALÈNCIA 20183

Con gran placer, Euroleague Basketball y Adidas os dan la bienvenida a todos a la 17ª edición del Euroleague Basketball Adidas Next Generation Tournament. Personalmente, estoy orgulloso de celebrar este evento, ya que ayuda a mostrar a todo el público el trabajo arduo y profesional que nuestros clubes realizan diariamente con los jóvenes que se convertirán en nuestras futuras estrellas.

Esta es la segunda década que Euroleague Basketball apoya este proyecto y es que somos plenamente conscientes de la importancia que tiene el baloncesto juvenil en Europa. Las cuatro ciudades anfitrionas, donde se llevarán a cabo las Clasificatorias, València, Munich, Kaunas y Belgrado albergarán uno de los Torneos Internacionales de U18 en el mundo con equipos provenientes de 15 países diferentes, participando no solo para convertirse en el Campeón sino lo más importante; para perpetuar los valores y el legado que hacen que el baloncesto sea genial. El campeón se coronará en Vitoria-Gasteiz, donde se celebrarán las finales.

Euroleague Basketball Adidas Next Generation Tournament no tiene que ver con el resultado final, cuántos puntos se han anotado o quién es el MVP, sino con el espíritu de equipo, el compromiso, el respeto, el sacrificio y el juego limpio. Se trata de los valores que todos nuestros jugadores deben tener y son enseñados todos los días por nuestros clubes en sus programas juveniles. Con este Torneo queremos proporcionar a los clubes una plataforma paneuropea donde puedan compartir estos valores y la pasión por el baloncesto.

Quisiera agradecer personalmente a Munich, Kaunas y Belgrado por su continuo apoyo en la organización de los Clasificados y dar una cálida bienvenida a València, que ha hecho uno de los proyectos más grandes para el desarrollo del baloncesto de base en Europa con sus últimas instalaciones de L’Alqueria

del Basket, bienvenido a la familia. Los ganadores de las eliminatorias que se lleven a cabo en estas cuatro ciudades formarán parte de los ocho equipos que participarán en las Finales EB ANGT de 2019, uno de los eventos paralelos más importantes de nuestro evento de coronación, la Final de la Eurocopa de Turkish Airlines 2019, Vitoria-Gasteiz.

Por último, pero no menos importante, me gustaría agradecer a Adidas por su continuo apoyo, la marca de las tres franjas comprende la importancia de este Torneo y los valores que representa. Tener una marca tan importante en el negocio del deporte colaborando con nosotros en este proyecto es algo de lo que estar orgulloso.

Deseo a todos los equipos participantes la mejor de las suertes y, lo más importante, que aprendan de esta experiencia los valores que serán fundamentales para su futuro como jugadores y como personas.

It is with great pleasure that Euroleague Basketball and adidas welcome you all to the 17th edition of the Euroleague Basketball Adidas Next Generation Tournament. I am personally proud of celebrating this event as it helps showing to the general public the hard and professional work our clubs are doing on a daily basis with the young people who will become our future stars.

This is the second decade that Euroleague Basketball supports this project as we are fully aware of the

importance that youth basketball has in European. The four host cities, where the Qualifiers will take place Valencia, Munich, Kaunas and Belgrade will host one of the most International 18-and- under Tournaments in the world with teams coming form 15 different countries, participating not

only to become Champion but most important to perpetuate the values and legacy that make basketball great. The champion will be crowned in Vitoria-Gasteiz where the Finals will be hosted.

Euroleague Basketball Adidas Next Generation Tournament is not about the final result, how many points have been scored or who is the MVP, it is about team spirit, commitment, respect, sacrifice and fair play it is about the values that all our players must have and are taught every day by our clubs in their youth programs. With this Tournament we want to provide the clubs with a pan- European platform

where they can share these values and the passion for basketball.

I would like to personally thank Munich, Kaunas and Belgrade for their continuing support in hosting the Qualifiers and give a warm welcome to Valencia, which has made one of the biggest projects for the development of grassroot Basketball in Europe with the state-of-the-art L Alqueria facilities, Welcome to the family. Winners of the qualifiers held in these four cities will be part of the eight teams that will participate in the 2019 EB ANGT Finals one of the most important parallel events of our crowning event, 2019 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four Vitoria-Gasteiz.

Lastly but not less important I would like to thank adidas for their continuous support, the three stripes brand understands the importance of this Tournament and the values it represents. Having such an important brand in the sport business collaborating with us in this project is something to be proud of.

La 17ª edición del torneo Euroleague Basketball Adidas Next Generation culminará en la Final Four en Vitoria-Gasteiz, España, el próximo mes de mayo. Mucho antes de eso, los fans pueden comenzar a disfrutar de lo mejor que la generación U18 de baloncesto tiene para ofrecer, con cuatro clasificatorios que abren el camino a las Finales. Los cuatro ganadores de los clasificados recibirán un pase para estar entre los ocho participantes en Vitoria-Gasteiz.

El Valencia Basket albergará la fase de clasificación en esta edición 2018-19, siendo la primera vez que el tres veces Campeón de la Eurocup tendrá a los jugadores de élite de Europa sub-18 en su ciudad. Munich, Kaunas y Belgrado serán los otros anfitriones que decidirán qué equipos ganan y se clasifican para las Finales.

Un total de 32 equipos U18 diferentes participarán en los cuatro clasificatorios. Cada ciudad albergará a ocho equipos compitiendo en dos grupos de cuatro durante los primeros dos días, y los juegos de primero, tercero, quinto y séptimo lugar se llevarán a cabo el último día.

Los alumnos de la final de los torneos de la Euroleague Basketball U18 forman un quién es quién de las estrellas actuales. Estos incluyen: Arturas Gudaitis y Nemanja Nedovic (AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan), Luka Doncic (Dallas Mavericks), Thomas Heurtel (FC Barcelona Lassa), Luigi Datome y Marko Guduric (Fenerbahce Estambul), Alexey Shved (Khimki Moscú Región), Dario Saric (Philadelphia 76ers), Klemen Prepelic (Real Madrid) y Jonas Valanciunas (Toronto Raptors).

The 17th edition of the Euroleague Basketball Adidas Next Generation Tournament will culminate at the Final Four in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain next May. Long before that, fans can start enjoying the best that basketball’s U18 generation has to offer with four qualifiers that pave the way to the Finals. The four winners of the qualifiers will each earn a ticket to be among the eight participants in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

Valencia Basket will host a qualifier in this 2018-19 edition, marking the first time that the three-time EuroCup champion club will have Europe’s elite U18 players in its city. Munich, Kaunas and Belgrade will be the other hosts that decide which teams win and qualify to the Finals.

A total of 32 different U18 teams will participate across the four qualifiers. Each city will host eight teams competing in two groups of four during the first two days, with the first-, third-, fifth- and seventh-place games being held on the last day.

The alumni of the Euroleague Basketball U18 Tournament Finals make up a who’s who of current stars. L´ALQUERIA DEL BASKET- VALÈNCIA 20187

La mayor instalación de baloncesto de formación de Europa abrió sus puertas el 27 de septiembre de 2017, con el objetivo de convertirse en un centro generador de baloncesto. Un año después, los números demuestran que ya es toda una realidad, puesto que más de 12.000 personas han utilizado sus instalaciones en multitud de actividades.

Se han albergado 7 grandes torneos incluyendo la Fase Previa de la Minicopa, con 4220 participantes en total. El interés suscitado ha sido evidente a través de la visita de 4151 personas, incluyendo 6 franquicias NBA. La formación de entrenadores en la instalación ha sido todo un éxito. 1216 entrenadores han pasado por los distintos clínics organizados, con los mejores ponentes como protagonista.

Por otro lado, la instalación ha sido sede de grandes eventos. 1080 personas han formado partes de los que tuvieron carácter deportivo, y 1562 de los empresariales relacionados con el mundo del baloncesto.

El trabajo realizado por los jugadores y técnicos del club ha alcanzado las 8990 horas de trabajo, con más de 5060 entrenamientos que han acabado por dar sus frutos. 17 jugadores/as fueron convocados por la selección española, y en la actualidad el número sigue creciendo.

Todo esto ha provocado que el interés crezca también en las redes sociales, donde se han superado los 13.500 seguidores en total. Un éxito, de nuevo, gracias a la Cultura del Esfuerzo.

L’ALQUERIA DEL BASKET, 1 AÑO 1ST YEAR L’ALQUERIA DEL BASKETEurope’s largest training basketball facility opened its doors on September 27, 2017, with the goal of becoming a basketball-generating center. A year later, the numbers show that it is already a reality, since more than 12,000 people have used their facilities in many activities.

They have hosted 7 major tournaments including the Preliminary Phase of the Minicopa, with 4220 participants in total. The interest aroused has been evident through the visit of 4151 people, including 6 NBA franchises. The training of coaches in the installation has been a success. 1216 coaches have gone through the different organized clinics, with the best speakers as protagonists.

On the other hand, the installation has hosted major events. 1080 people have formed parts of those that had sports character, and 1562

of the business related to the world of basketball.

The work carried out by the players and technicians of the club has reached 8,990 hours of work, with more than 5060 trainings that have come to bear fruit. 17 players were called by the Spanish national team, and currently the number continues to grow.

All this has caused that interest also grow in social networks, where they have exceeded 13,500 followers in total. A success, again, thanks to the Culture of Effort.


SISTEMA DE COMPETICIÓN Este prestigioso torneo que organiza la Euroliga desde 2003, reúne a los mejores equipos junior europeos. Un total de 32 equipos compiten en cuatro torneos clasificatorios. El ganador de cada uno de ellos se asegura un puesto en la fase final a ocho que disputan junto con otros 4 equipos. Esta se celebrará en Vitoria, paralelamente a la disputa de la Final Four de la Euroliga.

COMPETITION SYSTEMThis prestigious tournament organized by the Euroleague since 2003, brings together the best European junior teams. A total of 32 teams compete in four qualifying tournaments. The winner of each of them ensures a place in the final phase to eight who play along with other 4 teams. This will be held in Vitoria, parallel to the dispute of the Final Four of the Euroleague.

EUROLEAGUE ONE TEAM #WEAREALLONETEAM

One Team, el programa de Responsabilidad Social Corporativa (RSC) de Euroleague Basketball, apoyado por Turkish Airlines como Equipo Fundador del One Team y con la colaboración de Special Olympics como Proud Partner, utiliza el baloncesto para lograr un impacto social real en nuestras comunidades.

Con un modelo innovador de interconexión en todo un continente, Euroleague Basketball y sus clubes han desarrollado un completo programa de RSC que reúne las actividades de cada equipo de forma integrada e impactante, trabajando bajo el tema de “integración comunitaria”. Cada club participante desarrolla un proyecto específico de Un Equipo adaptado a las necesidades de su propia comunidad para beneficiar a los grupos en peligro de exclusión debido a problemas como el abuso de sustancias y el género, la discapacidad física o intelectual. Desde su fundación en 2012, el programa One Team ha alcanzado ya directamente e indirectamente a 16,000 participantes a través de sus diversos proyectos de equipo.

Valencia Basket colaborará con Asindown para llevar a cabo un día de One Team durante el torneo. Un trabajo de integración exhibido en el último día a través de los valores que provienen del baloncesto.

One Team, Euroleague Basketball’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, supported by Turkish Airlines as the One Team Founding Patron and with the collaboration of Special Olympics as Proud Partner, uses basketball to achieve real social impact in our communities.

With an innovative model of interconnectedness across an entire continent, Euroleague Basketball and its clubs have developed a complete CSR program that brings together activities from each team in an integrated, impactful way, working under the theme of “community integration”. Each participating club develops a specific One Team project tailored to its own community needs to benefit groups in danger of exclusion due to problems such as substance abuse and gender, physical or intellectual disability. Since its founding in 2012, the One Team program has reached already directly and indirectly 16,000 participants through its various team projects.

Valencia Basket will collaborate with Asindown to carry out a One Team day during the tournament. An integration work exhibited in the final day through the values that come from basketball.
