University College of Engineering Tindivanam (UCET), a constituent college of Anna University, Chennai has envisioned a wide range of enhancement and progress both in academics and administration since 2008. The College has a land area of 4.85.0 Hectares at Melpakkam, Tindivanam which is on the way of Chennai to Tiruvannamalai National Bypass Road. UCET has four UG courses namely Computer science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering (English & Tamil medium).

The Department offers Ph.D programme in the areas of Complex Analysis, Special Functions, Fuzzy Differential Equations and Numerical Methods. Funded projects are being executed in this department.
