go event was held at Lee H. Nel-son Hall and was ree to the pub-lic. Limewash StudyNCPTT has completed its studyon the durability o traditionaland modifed limewashes. Theproject addresses needs o the

Cane River Creole National His-torical Park. The study rankedthe durability o limewashesbased on adhesion, abrasion re-sistance, and artifcial weather-ing. Researchers tested 13 com-binations that were applied inthree coats to weathered wood,rough-sawn wood, handmadeand modern brick, and epoxywood fller. NCPTT presentedthe results at the 2006 Tradi-tional Building Conerence.
