taiPEi was organized successfully again. the much awaited iCt mega show had its grand opening in taipei World trade Centre nan-GanG Exhibition Hall. First time the show was held in totally five venues, i.e. TWTC Hall 1, Hall 2, Hall 3, nanGanG Exhibition Hall, the show is open to international buyers on the first two days. apart from 56 taiwan’s brand, 162 countries were participated in the mega show. apart from the stunning growth in international buyers on the first two days, the show is also growing by 9% this year with 1,800 exhibitors using totally 5,300 booths, featuring five major themes—tablet PC, E-reading, Smart phone, 3d technology and Cloud Computing.

Asus Showcased Two Mini-ITX Llano Motherboards

MSI showcases WindPad 120W tablet

MSi added another one to its offer and show it at Computex 2011 - the WindPad 120W. the WindPad 120W looks a lot like the 110W except for the fact that this time around it's not aMd Brazos but rather intel's Cedar trail platform. the showcased Windpad 120W was running on Windows 7 and strapped with intel's Widi and HSPa 3.5G as well as GPS support. MSI didn't reveal much regarding the device but the feature list includes Fast Flash Standby support as well as SrS surround sound. it features the same 10-inch capacitive touch screen seen on the 110W and it would be nice to compare performance and battery life of the two 1x0W series tablets.
