What is NCES? • Net-Centric Enterprise Services (NCES) is the information sharing
foundation for the – Command and Control;– Business; and– Intelligence Domains
• NCES will allow users and information systems to:– Find and access relevant information;– Expose the information they produce for others to discover;– Collaborate;– Distribute data;– Increase performance and reliability of data access, and;
– Utilize the enterprise infrastructure for evolving DoD systems to a Service Oriented Architecture.
