Battle of Lake Erie Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry: Had built nine ships.

Captain Robert Barclay: Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry Opponent. Six Vessels.

American fleet was trapped by sand bar in harbor.

Barclays ship maintained a blocade of Presque Isle unit July 1813 when sailed away for reinforcements.

In mid- afternoon on September 10, Perry's flagship was destroyed. Commander transferred over to another ship.

Barclay was wounded and taken prisoner along with other British sailors.

British squadron captured and taken back as prizes.

American Forces then got in complete control of Lake Erie.
